So, you don't doubt any of what I've reported about Tiger being closely associated with convicted money launderers, or that he MAY be taking over our club, yet still question the reason for doing so? Odd. Not odd. That took u a long time to reply, yet u didn’t answer the question. Do u have proof that any of these convicted money laundering associates will be involved? Yes or no will do. I’m sure lots of people have some dodgy connections in their life. I seem to remember mark Ashton’s Past dealings in football brought up quite a lot. If yes then that’s very interesting and I’ll be interested to hear what Oxvox think on the issue. If no, then as I’ve said it’s a worse case scenario, that might be miles from fact. With the money man behind him actually being as clean as Juan I like that tiger now “MAY” be taking over. Do u agree that the dodgy people mentioned “MAY” not even be involved If you were performing counterparty due diligence on a potential business relationship, then if he has done business with that individual it may well flag as an issue in Sentinel or Worldcheck systems that are responsible for vetting out potentially corrupt business partners. At which point you would likely choose not to engage with them except with significant legal review but still unlikely. Not sure if that added to the debate 😳

It's slightly different for a millionaire businessman owning a business like Oxford than a corporation trying to avoid regulatory fines, prohibition on activity, fraud loss and reputation all damage. He'd probably want a good lawyer though and be able to constantly monitor activity taking place within his investment. Edit: if it's a straight up sale though it's not really his problem. Only if he retains a stake and is involved in governance that would demonstrably show he could have known about inappropriate activity or failed to take action that could have prevented it

Dropping down to Charlie’s level and belittling others, classy myles. You still haven’t answered the question of why you are posting this now considering it had all gone quiet on here about Tiger? It may have gone quiet on here, but why does that mean it's gone away? Considering Tiger was at Rovers last weekend in his 14yr old Range Rover with a silly personal plate, I think it's reasonable to flag up his recent activities and connections. Only somebody with a reason to suppress that information would think otherwise, surely?

But to add 1 man being seen in a Range Rover (what’s a silly plate matter) at an away game together with as many dodgy associates as possible to get an answer is doom mongering. As you have done so much work on it, could u please list 2/3 very rich, totally honest businessmen that he has had as associates during his career. That like football and may be interested in backing him. There must be some of those as well wouldn’t u agree ? Add a bit of balance. Only someone with a reason to would suppress that info surely ?

Well, this wasn't a response to you, but I'll go with it. One man in his shonky old Range Rover at an away game IN ISOLATION isn't a big deal. But it's not in isolation is it? I've put my evidence up. If you have something to counter that, the onus is on you to present it, not me. As it happens, I have been unable to identify the sort of people you describe, but if you know better, again, I'm all ears.

Ok off the top of my head - sir john madejski No one has questioned that tiger wouldn’t be involved, it’s the others I’m talking about. And by your own admission it’s not evidence. It’s speculation

Having had Kassam (and we are STILL suffering as a result of him being in charge), Merry and Maxwell, surely based on Myles' research (prove wrong if so) people HAVE to be more than a little concerned about the kind of person who MAY be involved in any ownership??
Goodness whoever takes over there will be a little skepticism (especially as the ground is a HUGE challenge), but the background of this guy surely is enough to worry supporters?

Just look at this guy’s record. Even if the other parties aren’t involved this time, he was involved in some morally questionable (at best) dealings at Reading. But I’m sure he’s an absolutely fine guy on his own...

Presumably because you and oufcyellows are too thick or too lazy to bother. Nothing and nobody is stopping anyone doing an exhaustive study on Juan Sartori. And it should be a fair bit easier than Myles' efforts, as Sartori's business interests are listed on wiki and first two pages of Google search, and several of them are publicly quoted, which means you can investigate them very thoroughly, relatively easily. He also made himself available to your fans representative group to answer questions. I was there, and Jem (quite rightly) asked him about the quantity of his funding, whether he would accept fan representation on the board and where his plans were on the stadium front. All good, responsible stuff. And the kind of thing that should be discussed BEFORE a takeover. You really don’t get it do you? You think people are stupid - you are so predictable. Long posts purportedly with a positive spin but always with an ulterior motive from the same three or four posters. It was the same when DE was in competition with your group- scaremongering, trying to discredit, etc. One thing I’m not is thick. I’m not going to play the man rather than the ball. It’s sad that somebody with your intelligence always has to resort to personal attacks. I’m seen this behaviour many times in business - normally from lower level staff with aspirations of grandeur.

As for the number plate, some of our players have personalised number plates. Is that a problem as well? It may still be going on in the background but your timing still seems somewhat planned for whatever reason. Is it because your mates have had another failed bid to get hold of the club so you revert back to your tactics back in 2014 (which can I add seem to now look very empty comments).

Adjective - connected with an organization or business. m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/29285081Doesn’t need painting myles, there it is black and white “evidence” as u like to call it. And again I don’t need to believe tiger would be involved on his own. I’ve said on this thread and others weeks ago that he would just be a front man. The difference is, I didn’t then pluck 2/3 of the worse links I could find and add them without any evidence they would be involved. Scaremongering - the spreading of frightening or ominous reports or rumours. What’s up ? Us thicko’s ruining the master plan? Fair play for actually coming back onto a thread u started for once though, rather than posting the thought and then drip feeding more info to others who can’t stop talking argue ur case for u and take all the abuse. So it’s from personal experience, having woken up that I now question “some” of what’s said and why. All of us would have concerns if it were to happen. But like with de and ma, it might just not be as bad as the picture being painted at the time

And also nice to see Chaz posting again. He’s been so quiet after 10 points out of last 12.
I smell BS .

I smell BS . This You only have to look at the OP's posting history to see that they have a major issue with DE. I am all for healthy analysis of what a potential new owner / investor might bring, but have to confess I question it when this poster is involved just on the basis of what has gone before and the lack of accuracy and balance they seem to display when commenting on our current owner.

For the record, since I've posted on this thread, I'll say that I think DE has done a very good job. You can't argue with promotion and two trips to Wembley. And now a seemingly very good squad at the top of league one with another promising manager.
One could debate changes to strategy (his perogative) and a few strange messages (football fans will always analyze every word) but you can't argue with the tangible change in our fortune under his leadership.
How he makes his eventual departure none of us can predict and will be interesting to see....

I smell BS . I don’t think my opinion of Darryl as an owner is particularly relevant on this thread. For the record though, I think it’s been a mixed bag; the on field success has been tempered by off-field issues. In many ways though I think owners are best judged on the condition they leave a club in when they depart - just look at how the perception of Robin Herd changed during his tenure. As for my motivation, isn’t that quite evident? I care passionately about our football club so when the potential of a new owner with close ties to individuals so toxic that the Premier League have effectively warned them off, I’m not just going to shrug my shoulders and say “They might be ok this time round”.

A mixed bag?! Taking out the success on the pitch the club is in the best position it has been in years in regards to finances (yes we have debt but it’s soft debt). The amount of money the club has received in transfer fees and compensation is more than anyone could of dreamed of. The amount of ST sold last season and this year even with the price increase is impressive. That’s without marketing which I feel is the only aspect the club really need to look at. Nothing at a football club is ever perfect but I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, be careful what you wish for. Although i’m sure you won’t be happy until your mates are involved in the club in some way. I’m glad others can finally see through the smoke screens and realise there is other motives behind it.

But that’s where you are wrong. I’m open to anybody running our club provided they have the resources and a sound plan to take the club forward. And the big strategic issue which needs addressing is the stadium (which IMHO has been Darryl’s biggest failing). So feel free to bluster on about smokescreens and motives. But I ask you this, when there is a possible takeover by someone who has screwed over another club and has close ties to convicted money launderers, who appears to have the dubious agenda: those ensuring the full information is out in the public domain, or those who seem keen to suppress it and question motives? Actually, I don’t ask you that, it’s more of a question for others reading this forum with an open mind.

Surely the biggest negative with DE's tenure (which he would no doubt agree) has been in relation to the ground. We are not quite homeless, but have a declining ground with the lease running out and an owner who appears to be trying to make things as difficult as possible (so much so that the club has events at Oxford City's ground- quite ridiculous if you think about it). I am not blaming DE for this but clearly as a club we are being held back significantly due to the ground issue, On the pitch, results speak for themselves although better than that we hvae achieved results playing extremely attractive football.

I know we have massive problems as a club only being tenants an all, but the stadium, though three sided and unloved, seems to be quite liked from the away supporters I have heard. They say it is a pretty decent ground despite the fence. The playing surface seems to be good and judging from some of the grounds that I have been to recently, it does have some redeeming factors. We lambast it to the heavens as we are paying a fair old rent to that landlord, but, for all it’s lack of parking and wind assisted sewage stench, it is not too bad a stadium all in all.

Forget Eales and Ashton - would you want these people anywhere near our football club? Why not if they can take us to where Reading are now for god sake. Hell sure eales can't and won't. We have no assets, apart from the money made in appletons compensation and millions made on transfers. Regardless of his usual hollow statements, he isn't going to spend any of it in transfers. Where has the money gone, one might ask.
