Boring draw, so here's a quiz question for y'all. Port Vale is one of only three of the 92 clubs named after a place that doesn't exist. IE Oxford United play in Oxford and so on. Name the other two. No googling! QPR ?

Unless we had a small non-league team or Swindon then it was always going to be an iffy draw.
On league form, surely we must be favourites to go through?
Then win the 2nd and get Spurs away!

Queens Park. Suburb near Hammersmith. Forest Green correct. They play in Nails worth. And the other team is? This is more interesting than the draw itself

No googling! Oooh I like this one! Arguably there's three? Arsenal QPR (there is a place called Queen's Park but it's nowhere near where QPR play) Forest Green Rovers ( I don't think there is an area of Nailsworth called Forest Green) Not sure if there's actually a place called Crystal Palace? It is (was) obviously a landmark, but a place? EDIT - OK, just seen all the other answers above.

Nailsworth has two football clubs both named after areas of the town - Shortwood and Forest Green. Sorry!

If you're going to include Port Vale then I do think you have to include Arsenal too and Crystal Palace. All of these were named after 'places' but not cities, town or districts. The whole thing is a very grey area

This whole debate really shows how rubbish the draw is.

And as it's a Monday night, and that was a very very boring draw, same question but for Scottish League Clubs. There are two of them. Not Rangers or Celtic, as their official names are both prefixed by 'Glasgow'. Geographically, there has to be no such place. I do realise this is one of the dullest threads ever....

St Johnstone are in Perth, no such place. Port Vale is the only league club I can think of though if you stretch it to Non League you can add Concord Rangers, no such place I can think of. QPR were named after Queens Park, not sure why there is any arguement with that one.
Back to the cup, any league club at this stage is not going to set the pulse racing if drawn away apart from Swindon and maybe Luton. Happy with this draw only in respect go the fact that we should win and it is one step closer to the 3rd round.

Sorry, For somebody who claims to live in London have you never heard of Leyton, not far from Leytonstone or you actually. Did you actually go to school or did you just ignore the Geography lessons.

This is a winnable tie, could be a good day out.... Where’s the problem?
