Third time lucky...
Things looking up after the last two games and a win here could see us up to the dizzying heights of 4th.
Eastwood Riberio Nelson Mous Ricardinho Ledson Ruffels Henry Payne Rothwell Thomas
2-1, Thomas + Henry with Sercombe (obviously) getting one

All 4 of our wins have been by 3 goals this season. Expect this to change though.Bristol Rovers games this season have produced a lot of goals. Think we'll win tomorrow 3-1. Even though our away form has been nothing spectacular i think tomorrow we turn a corner. Hopefully we don't have to here about Irene either. 3-1 Oxford. Thomas brace and Ledson penalty. I also expect Ledson to be going in for every lose ball including one where he nails Sercombe (which apparently could get heated) anyone know why or is it just because the type of players they both are? Eastwood Ribiero Nelson Mousinho Carroll Ruffles Ledson Henry Payne Rothwell Thomas Only reason i would stick Carroll in is this game could get fiesty and he has a similar mentality to ledson, he doesn't mind a challenge aswell also the fans are right on top of the pitch so Carroll says he loves abuse from the stands and it makes him play better.
We've also done pretty well against our "Bogey teams" this season we've beat Oldham and AFC Wimbledon, two teams we didn't beat at all last season.

They will no doubt be buoyed after their 6-0 drubbing of the cobblers last week!! Maybe, this will help us, a little over confidence on their part perhaps, and not many teams at our level usually follow up a big win with another big performance I'd have thought? So, hoping for some inconsistency on their part!!
Pirates 1 U's 2. AArrrrr Jim lad!

So looking forward to the portaloos again! Hoping for dry weather as that pitch can be a swamp at times.
Win for the U's, of course. Put last season to rights.

Never a good thing when everyone starts predicting a win. 1-1.

I think this could be a cracker. Both teams have been scoring goals, Sercombe will be really up for it, and a decent crowd. Gas fans are predicting either 2-1 or 3-1 to them, but they would say that wouldn't they.
I'm a bit nervous, and think we will score a couple of come back goals to make it 2-2.

1-1
A midfielder from each side to score, inevitably it will be Sercombe for Rovers.
A player from each side to be sent off.

Bodin out is a big loss for Rovers so that's a positive going into the game for Oxford.

Bristol fans are confident after a massive win, oxford fans (well me)are less confident due to an up and down season and we always seem to have to watch these fuckers celebrate and listen to sodding Irene.
So I’m predicting 2-1 oxford Thomas, ruffels

Best way to get from the station to the ground/pub? There's a bus from Bristol parkway that takes about 20 minutes or so. I forget the number however

Looking forward to our first Rovers trip. Cannot be as good as the Posh can it? I think a draw. Looking forward to the Lego Sercs battle in midfield. Sercs got a lot of stick before his move but I have to say he was an absolute gent to us outside Wembley stadium, probably having already been told he wasn't playing in that ill-fated game.

It does, they are a funny bunch though and their over confidence seems to be based purely on their last result

Love an away day in Bristol, my sister-in-law lives 10 mins away from the ground, so the Gorilla family are heading down to Bristol tonight. The missus and her mum get to spend an afternoon down at the Cribbs Causeway shopping centre, me and my son get to support the yellows (his first ever OUFC away day!)
As always hoping for a good result, and always optimistic that we will come away with something. Both teams in good form, both very capable of scoring goals, so I'm calling this one as a 2-2 draw (Ruffles and Payne scoring our goals).

Weird two previous posters have gone for 2-2 and that's the feeling I'm getting in my water too, although it could just be age related...
Our goals coming from hotshot Wes and a last gasp equaliser from wee Jack (no pun intended..)

Has anyone heard of Billy Bodin is fit? Went off in the first half last week with a hamstring injury, but haven't seen anything either way. Their best player by a country mile.
