About time I had a go at starting a MDT. We've got to get the train back on the rails after the disappointment of that first half against Blackpool.
Hopefully Obiko will be fit giving us somebody to hold up the ball and spread it around.
Then after we go 3-0 up Obiko will be rested and our Swedish-Albanian will get 30 minutes to show what he can do.
Result 4-0 for the mighty Yellows

I think we will just hold on to win 2-1 but Walsall will be aware of our defeat and will come at us hard, could be our undoing.

Need to get some form going, only 1 win in our last 6 in the league, Walsall concede an awful lot so hopefully that's something we can exploit, will go for 3-1 Oxford

We need to bounce back after Saturday, I think we will win if Walsalls managers skills of analysis are anything to go by. He said we "have the experience of Curtis Nelson,Ryan Ledson, Mike Williamson" in our side as well as saying we're a real threat outwide. The only game i can recall us being a real threat on the wings is Portsmouth.
If we win i can see us winning big. Like our previous two home wins.
4-1 win at home again, my only concern is Walsall haven't won away since Boxing day... Payne,Henry,Mehmeti,Mousinho all scoring

Wouldn't mind starting with 5ATB but suppose Mous will stay at RB until Riberio+Tiendelli are both back? Been steady at home with the usual system, so i suppose if it ain't broke... Whenever I give an optimistic prediction, it goes tits up so I'll say 1-0 win with Hall scoring, plus a whole bunch of missed chances before they nearly snatch a point at the end

Home form is good 2 wins and 2 draws. Probably a better way to look at form sometimes then including all games.

Bit concerned about this one. After losing 3-1 you'd think they'd spend time on the training pitch working in the weaknesses that defeat highlighted but instead they go on a team bonding thing at an Army base until Wednesday. Its a really bizzare thing to do at this stage of the season and it means they've only had 2 days of proper preparation for this game.
Walsall haven't won away since Boxing Day...

They did normal training along side the camp, which I actually thought was a great idea.

Interesting match ahead!
40% of shots on target result in a goal when playing Walsall.
51% of our shots are on target.
Walsall have conceded 13 of their goal from between then penalty spot and the goal...a majority of the assists coming down their left (8).
They are decent in the air, but cumbersome at the back. Keep them out of our 6 yard box (where they have scored 7 of their 11 goals) and we will be find.
3-1 Oxford

I'll say a somewhat lackluster 2-0 win. Can see them frustrating us a bit, or perhaps us not being quite at our best. Regardless, an early goal from Rob Hall, and a late one from Mehmeti off the bench on his debut.
Hope our starting line-up is: (4-2-3-1) Eastwood, Ribeiro, Mousinho, Nelson, Ricardinho, Rothwell, Ledson, Henry, Payne, Hall, Obika

5 nil home win after going 3 up in the first half hour. Goals throughout the team including a towering heading from a corner and a direct freekick.

Don't think it's that bizarre really, something that was planned in August and they still trained each day they were there in preparation for Walsall, the only difference between normal training and this weeks training is once training is finished they do other activities as a group. I think it would have been something that was necessary to help the team gel a bit more. When we were struggling,Michael Appleton didn't do this sort team bonding session until November and at that point we were around 20th position. We've had a big turnover of players this season especially after Portugal. Hopefully in the next month we'll start to see the benefit of the players getting to know eachother. Starting tomorrow.

Rob Hall will score a bicycle header after tripping over the dog that was frightened by the announcement that the toilets in all stands will be cleaned and the ashtrays in the east stand toilets will be emptied. In time for the game against AFC Wimbledon
