"Best team in the land" was popular at many football clubs around that time I think the arrival of players with multi syllable names killed that off! "We beat Man United" was unique & devised at the same time as Yellow Sub but faded away and never bridged the gap from the Manor to the Kassam. Yellow Submarine it is. With gusto. And somebody leading who knows the right words! As far as unique songs go, don't forget "Yellow & blue, keep your shape..." Indeed. However its never really caught on despite its longevity !
