Eastwood is a great keeper and is still doing fine. My slight worry is that he hasn't quite hit the heights of last season - understandable - but I hope things like that weak punch the other day don't keep happening. Now, of course, everyone will disregard that first sentence!
Plenty of people have stated that a couple of our goals conceded have come from players cutting in from our left flank. That's a slight worry, only slight because other than that our new left back has been great.
Payne came with such a fanfare, such high hopes and promise that even though he's been good in some games, overall so far it's a bit disappointing.
Hardly the most controversial views of the century. Everyone needs to calm down a bit

I forgot that there's no such thing as nuance on the internet. Just like a woman you've twisted what I said - ever heard of the word 'slightly'? My bad, if there's one word that comes to mind when I think of you on here Mr Money it's definitely 'nuanced' I'm flattered anything would come to mind, to be honest. I fly under the radar usually

I think we are heading in the right direction.
We aren't leaking goals despite a not so settled back line, the midfield will continue to settle and gel, and big Jon Obika looks like he could be a real handful if he gets firing. Shame about his decision making in the final few minutes at MK though.
I'm hopeful about what Mowatt can do for our midfield as well. Looks a decent player, fingers crossed he gets a run out this weekend.

Worth remembering Van Kessel has just moved to the country and he is looking for somewhere to live, he has just had his first child and his partner is living in the Netherlands with said child at the moment (what social media suggests). With that sort of chaos in his personal life. I'm happy so far. Kids change people... hopefully he settles a bit and starts banging them in. I'm sure he's bored of touring Europe. I'm hopeful. We may be thinking 800k looks like a bargain in six months as we may be in hysterics that that's his value, only time will tell.
In truth, only time will tell on all the players. I think there are positive signs about them all and some concerns about others. If we can spot concerns I'm hopeful Pep will and either help them improve or limit how teams can target weaknesses.
For me, we're heading in the right direction and it's maybe a tad too early to judge. A few more games and we'll see.
New manager, new ideas, new methods and new players. It'll take time to get to a place Pep is happy and I trust that will be somewhere where we are all happy. I'm prepared to wait.

I am quietly satisfied. We have a new manager, significant change in squad and good revenue. I feel we will progress as the season goes and will be top 7 at the end of the season.

IMO Gino is the player that will make something out of nothing for us this season, he will be our roofe or maguire. Every game he's played he's created a chance he has/should have scored from
