I think a 50/50 draw is limited to a £2K pay out Otherwise it becomes a raffle or subject to needing a licence or something like that. By offering prizes and lower prize money maybe all this becomes taxable and nobody has worked it out

i don't think the changes warrant the negativity but at the same time I can see this attracting more purchasers at all, but maybe it doesn't have to in order to work.

However they re-brand it, its a poor show when they sell out of tickets in the East Stand (again). Not to difficult to give the sellers a few extra books of tickets I'd have thought. Results in lost revenue as a few people asked for tickets.

Results in lost revenue as a few people asked for tickets. You could have had all the unsold tickets from the SSU. Our group usually buy 14 minimum, yesterday, 1. (not me!)

Big reduction in the cash prize. Over £1600 for the Pompey game now, "up to £750". Doesn't have the same appeal. Probably give it a miss. Shame as it helped the club, at least that's what I presume it did? (hence the 50/50) Count me out and that was the opinion of the box I sit in .

Is there any use by date on the hes tickets? I could not see any printed on them so could I save a few up and take the wife to the cocktail bar for her Christmas present?

Somehow I don't think she would even go if she thought there was a footy voucher included.

I always bought at least one ticket and was one number away from winning once (boo). My completely unscientific view is that prizes of £1k plus were 'worth winning' but £750 at the same implied odds is a bit meh. The drink offers / club shop voucher have no interest to me at all, so that's a double meh.
I probably won't bother buying them any longer
PS - JTs was responsible for one of the most annoying ads on Jack FM for a while, only second to that really annoying fucker with the slight lisp & his IT company

So now with less tickets being sold the actual odds of winning are greater even if it's only for £750 or is the amount not guaranteed and it's a maximum prize?
