Could well be, I was drinking carling from the concourse smuggled in 😉 or maybe it was carlsberg. It's was green and beer tasting That green bottle will say Carlsberg on it. Can't beat an over priced bottle of p*ss at The Kas Stad. It's my only choice from now on, having given up the comforts of the corporate area in exchange for a north stand seat. It may be p*ss but it's cheaper p*ss, with the profits going to farrs not fk. Win win

Having to be on the database isn't going to help the shop in the covered market sell tickets to tourists they day before the game is it.
You never know, some American/ Japanese /European etc on holiday may suddenly decide he wants to take his family to the game only to find he cant, loss of £80 to the lub

Sounds like you can give your name and address when buying a ticket and get put on the database, even if it's your first one. The problem seems to be that when asked for details on Saturday in the busy time just before the game it both slowed things down and made people angry at the staff.
