My wife, Angie Turner, who has been dragged all round some of the least prestigious grounds in the country (Dripping Pan, Lewes; Weymouth; Aldershot), as well as all Wembley matches -excluding QPR- sadly passed on 17th July 2017 - aged just 52 years. Only the best die young! She was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour less than 2 months ago. Her deterioration was incredibly rapid and painful to observe. Angie had cared for me so exceptionally when I had to have a Stem-cell transplant for cancer of the bone marrow just 3 years ago. Little did we know as we went to Wembley in early April, that she would be diagnosed with cancer just 6 weeks later.
One of my enduring football memories of my Angie will be her remonstrating at Paolo di Canio and his touch line histrionics, as the Mighty Yellows beat Swindon one more time!
The brilliant care of the Hospice at Home team enabled her to live comfortably in our own home until she slipped away. I shall miss her sat in the next seat to me for matches this season. COYY

COYY It has been suggested by a poster below that some on this site may wish to contribute to the Hospice which cared so exceptionally for my wife, Angie. As it so happens, my daughter Claire recently completed a Tri-Athlon for the Hospice, and any donations from Oxford United supporters would be brilliant. Many thanks in anticipation: uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserPage.action?userUrl=ClaireTurnerTri&faId=859205&isTeam=false
