ON THE OUTLAW SITE will it.dress it up how you will....we made Oxford look like a good side.. The most deluded forum ever. Just had a quick look. 1 thread on how oxford were mouthy outside and a ox bloke in a red and blue top got put on his arse and another thread about how they don't like Wembley! You have to laugh....most teams have a minority of dickheads...in respect of Luton it's the majority!

Deserves it. Been in and out of the team lately. Really did a job today. Oxford Mail doesn't even have Sercs on the shortlist for MOTM[/quote No Dunks either For me, the whole team played well but Dunkley and Lundstram just edged Sercombe, Johnson and Edwards

Couldn't watch the 2nd half as it's my sister's birthday (seriously considered boycotting her party).
Any highlights? Sky Sports don't have them online yet...

Also, we didn't get any suspensions through yellow cards did we? And if Macca's red earlier in the cup didn't disqualify him from future league games, does that mean any future suspensions gained in the league won't effect players' appearances in the final?

Thought the final was early May, not early April. I'm going to be in Hong Kong...

D'ya know what? I have no bad feelings about Hylton's celebrations - it's his passion for whatever club he's playing for and the ecstasy of scoring to level the match from 2-0 down. Add that to the fact that he's a joker with a great character, and you can't hold it against the chap. Remember, he was celebrating FOR Luton, not against us. Of course, if O'Dowda ever does it - not cool. Roofe wouldn't, but he's a different class. I thought he was going to do an Adebayor when he starting running....

Jerome said during commentary that he thought that all yellow cards would have been expunged after this semi, ahead of the final. Only a straight red would have seen the miscreant suspended.

For those looking for a very minor river, firstrowsports.eu is worth a paddle. Click on the icon to enlarge to full screen, and no ads. Not through Virgin media you can't - screen appears saying they're banned via a high court judgement! How safe is it registering for angling permits on any of these streams? Are you likely to get invited into deeper, more stagnant ponds as a result? Sorry, Mooro, I was watching in the US, and that spot is fine here. I never try for any angling permits, but have a bunch of fishing sites that I try, and normally catch something worth not throwing back. Another place that I often go fishing is rojadirecta.me, but again that might only allow American fishing.

Thought it was a really interesting game to watch. Pitch made it hard to play, Eastwood made an unbelievable save in the first minutes. Their keeper kept them in it in the first half. Should've been 4 up at half time. Great character in this team, they really don't give up do they. Proud to be a yellow!

A quite sensational game on a dodgy pitch.
My man of match was Edwards, an overlapping , goal scoring fullback, with great positional skill. He's the epitome of the unsung hero.
You've got it to hand it to Luton, they gave everything. It was a pleasure to see Hylton again, what an unusual sparky player he is.
Boycotters cut off their noses to spite their faces last night. The players worked their nuts off to get a result last night. They looked thrilled at the end.
Yes , it was the Checkattade Trophr semi final in front of less than 7000 supporters. But 45 shots, umpteen corners.
Football gold!

Great advert for lower division football.
Thought they looked pretty decent tbh. Moved it around well but were outclassed in midfield by us. We also showed why we are further up the pyramid with our link up play and decision making.
My MOM was Sercombe. Driving us forwards and always a threat. Dunks had a good game as did Edwards, Johnson and Lego.
Another Wembley final, 5 round of the FA cup, challenging for the playoffs, youthful squad, great manager and a great chairman. Has someone spiked my horlicks?

You have to laugh....most teams have a minority of dickheads...in respect of Luton it's the majority! Yep, apparently none of them wanted to go to Wembley anyway, we didn't deserve to win as we only had 12 shots on target, and we were so scared of Luton that we were time wasting from the 15th minute! Oh and hoards of nasty Oxford fans went looking for it after the game, only to run away crying when confronted by a solitary puny Luton have a go hero. And saving the best for last - any trouble that occurred was all Kane Hemmings fault!!!!!

just had an extensive look at the outlaws forum. Yes there are a few numb-nuts on there, but if you ignore them and look at the general spin it is fairly pragmatic. For example:
"We lost to a very good Oxford team (missing two first teamers), they a further down the track of progression with their good young manager. Good game, we gave a spirited fight back. Then inevitable posts saying so and so is shit, I don't see the point of him I the side, any excuse to dwell on the negatives. We need these players to get promotion, none of them are shit, some had an off night against a good side, give em a break, they are human and playing league two, not premier league multi millionaires"
A fair assessment IMHO.
I thoroughly enjoyed the game (apart from a traditional Ox4d nervous last 10 minutes). Played in a good spirit without a bunch of cloggers trying to maim the opposition..Oh, and what a pleasure to have a ref go unnoticed for the full game. Well done to him
COYYs! 🤗

In agreement that it was an entertaining game. Even with that pitch, both sides showed quality and commitment to a passing game. I thought we edged it and certainly could have made it more comfortable, but Luton gave it a good go. They did look like a League 2 version of us at present and with a bit more quality from their current players (sort out their crossing and defending properly at set pieces) or with a couple more signings, they shouldn’t be in League 2 for a lot longer. Nathan Jones seems to have them playing the right way on a rotten pitch so they should persist with the odd, Welsh God-botherer. I did think we were wasteful. Some of our chances should have been put away. Macey saved a number of chances but ones that were right at him. I’d rather have seen him scrambling and diving across goal to save our efforts. Vassell was always a danger with his pace and it didn’t surprise me when we let one in and then Hylton nicked another. Marvin’s one decent shot of the right (heaven knows where his cross-shot was going!) just happened to be perfect to take us through. A note for Sercombe. I’ve thought that maybe with our evolving squad and injections of quality that MApp is bringing in that we’d see Sercs as a member of the squad to be moved on in the same way Ryan Taylor and Alex MacDonald were. However, continuing to play at RM and still bringing up MOTM awards is why he’s still around. A very good, energetic and quality performance from him.

All three of Luton's big chances, none of our estimated 603 shots on target? Hmm.
