Sure we used to have a betting thread on here but blowed if I can find it. I'm sure a few people on here like a bet, I'm doing the following tonight;
Mansfield and Plymouth double at 2.32/1 with Bet365. Mansfield are in great form having won 7 of their last 8 and conceding very few goals at home to Accy who are a few points above the relegation zone and poor away from home, have lost 7 of their last 8 away only scoring 1 goal in the process. Surprised to see Mansfield at odds against.
Plymouth in good form as well recently and a good team at the top of the table, smashed Exter's winning run on Saturday and are home to Orient who have massive problems throughout the whole club it seems.
Anyone else doing anything tonight?

And Nelson anytime scorer. With oufc to win at 9.00

Anyone know of a site/company that buys bets?
I did an accumulator pre-season (without a cashout option) and wanted to see what it may be worth (trending in the right direction but still a long shot).
Brighton, Millwall and Luton all to get promoted @52-1, same bet placed today is <16-1 so there has been some movement in my fav.
The issue is I can't keep looking out for Millwall results if they are the team we are chasing down for the final spot!

Your bet is actually worth nothing as of today(only your stake money) because all 3 are likely to be decided/known at the same time and there will be no cashout option as at least 1 of them has not been promoted yet. Your only hope is to sell to a mate for a % of your original stake but as regards profiting from the bet today you can't

Your only hope is to sell to a mate for a % of your original stake but as regards profiting from the bet today you can't Thanks for your reply. I'm no expert on betting, but I don't believe the bet is worth "nothing today other than your stake money". You can't place that bet today, at those odds, they have shortened and therefore there surely value in having something no longer available locked-in so to speak. Therefore there must be an arbitrage opportunity e.g. Bookies are offering the same bet today at 16-1, I took it at 52-1 that is a 36-1 spread. Therefore I could presumably list the same three teams to win promotion on a laying site such as Betfair at better odds than any bookie (lets say 20-1 at my original stake). If somebody picks up that bet, I would have received my stake back (so no longer have any money on the line to lose) and would have a free bet at 32-1 (the diff between the odds I took and the odds I offered). As I mentioned I am no expert on betting, but am well versed in investments and so struggle to see how something that has shortened (i.e. is regarded as more likely to happen, even if still unlikely) has not improved in value. Ultimately I'll prob just hold onto it as we are not talking big money, but I was interested if others got out of bets early and if so how (read a fair few Leicester fans sold their bets last year). Apologies for derailing the thread. Have gone Sheff W, Huddles, Plymouth and Mansfield tonight but gone with trebles as predicting four results in football is a tough, given the team who creates the best opportunities wins less than a team doing so in other sports.

Unexpected results last night but a good opportunity to make amends tonight with Bet365's in play offer on Bayern v Arsenal.

Your best idea would be to see if you can lay the same bet at betfair multiples. Alternatively ask one of the bookies for a price for all 3 "not to be promoted. Their twitter feeds usually will do a price for you, Im pretty sure Paddys too. I wouldn't expect to get much of a bargain though. I'd let it ride personally.

Brighton are home, Millwall are in the Final and Luton are in the mix too.

Iād be interested in peopleās opinions about my season bet.
Iāve got Man U (2nd), Villa (4th), Wigan (1st), & Luton (1st).
I donāt think Man U will win the league now but fancy Villa to keep pushing on after a slow start and expect the other two to finish top three so my ew bet is looking good.
Could cash out for a massive Ā£5.75 for a Ā£2 stake but not worth it obvs

Wigan will win our league, Man U and Luton will come top 3. But I think Villa might be your dodgy one, Wolves will win the Championship with Warnocks Cardiff second as he knows that league like the back of his hand, Sheffield United will fall away leaving that third spot between about 6 clubs. Decent picks though and you have a shout at it.

Its very rare I have a bet on football but after watching Shrewsbury play us off the park earlier in the season I went home and looked up their price. Clearly the compilers that priced them at 66-1 hadn't watched them play so I got on what I could (which wasn't much). I don't think they will win the league but clearly the price was based on the name, not how good they are.

Shrewsbury have started to wobble, think they will fade and certainly finish out of the top 3!
