Ah, The Masons Arms, the very pub where the landlord was very passionate in his defence to other Oxford fans about Oufc's decision to play in this seasons JPT.
Even taking the trouble in calling a few out and offering a chat ahead of Saturday's game!!! Enjoy the meeting ππ

Living where I do means I cannot make this which is a shame. I hope that at some point in the future I will get a chance to get up to Oxford (aside from match day!) and meet up with a few members.
Will the Q & A be minuted for publication to members? I can imagine that there will be some interesting debate around the EFL Trophy and season tickets. Would also like to hear what is happening to the restaurant and how that will affect the numbers in the bar and lounge areas.
The sooner the club can negotiate a purchase of the ground the better.

Hi manorlounger Yep, notes will be taken and sent out to members by the end of next weekend. Shame you can't make it tonight, we think it's going to be a really good and informative meeting as well as a great opportunity for members to meet and discuss all things OUFC/OxVox! Catch up soon I hope. Cheers Jem

Please ask about the Season Ticket distribution debacle.

Great meeting so far. Just some basic points:
OxVox study has proven that the current stadium IS suitable for the club's future
As for all you posh loungers, coffee has been taken off as the stadium company charge Β£29k(i think) a season for coffee! Probably making 20oddk in profit.
No deal in place for the restaurant again, because of stadium company cost demands. - don't quote me on this one, was at the bar.

Please ask about the Season Ticket distribution debacle. Some club staff made mistakes. They are sorry for it

Ask if farrs can supply the coffee to the lounges instead? I don't think they are contracted for hospitality.

Anyone asked who voted for B teams in the EFL trophy from our board?

Could they be contracted? With the club paying them to supply it rather than the stadco. And fair enough to refuse to pay it, but shouldn't the season ticket price have come down to reflect the loss of a major part of the package ?
Really wanted to be there to ask these 2 night. Been double booked

No deal in place for the restaurant again, because of stadium company cost demands. - don't quote me on this one, was at the bar. Strange one that. Cost people some much needed work, will need to offer partial refunds on some executive packages (I assume) and potentially p*ss off the man who owns the stadium in the process? The cost of not running the restaurants for FK is negligible, will this end up hurting OUFC more? Sorry, couldn't help quoting you.

Anyone asked who voted for B teams in the EFL trophy from our board? Not who, but why. And Darryl said it's a year and will never get passed through proper

Regarding family stand, junior room will be opening under the north stand and gives more progression for family staying growth.

Slightly off topic, but can't wait for Saturday. I guess there's a palpable excitement for DE and the management team

Another note, seems that the OCC who have been runaround by Kassam loads in the past will not let him do the same regarding the Priory

OCC talk about Kassam. Considering they let Fizza let it fall into disrepair tends to show that talk is cheap and they won't do much this time around.
Free Coffee cost the club a grand a home game. What a rip off for some Nescafe granules, water and milk! Sheesh

Free Coffee cost the club a grand a home game. What a rip off for some Nescafe granules, water and milk! Sheesh The strong view is that this won't happen again. The Priory is due to be renovated by January 17 - will cost circa Β£250K to do that. The view is that the Priory will become part of the hotel and not a pub. The Council will not put up with FK flouting the planning permission again. As an aside DE said that he is hugely surprised that FK and the Council have done nothing to help the football club. He can't understand why.

Regarding family stand, junior room will be opening under the north stand and gives more progression for family staying growth. The club is very conscious that the average age of the fan base is high. They need lots of younger supporters involved. Most League 1/2 clubs have a room for kids at half time. OUFc could not do that in the SSL, but can now (there is a room now available. Having said that, for the first time the club have opened up the middle sections for supporters for STs

The council won't put up with it... Where did they find the intestinal fortitude from all of a sudden? Fighting talk 15 years too late unfortunately.
On the last point, I've always thought that OUFC stayed in Oxford inspite of the council, not because of their love for them.

Doesn't take a genius to work out when OCC are in love with Oufc ( ie when we have a higher profile through success). As for Fk, we all know his track record.

It's not like they do much for us when we are successful though. Just a bit of cheap PR and a civic reception

Yet OCC didn't let Tim at the Priory keep a temporary tent, but allow Kassam to let the Priory get into the state it's in now.
