Did he really not score a goal ? Could have sworn he did. Must have had a few assists though If you watch the vid you'll see he set up a fair few. Skinned full backs for fun.

Great video defo needs background music tho Think from that video you can clearly see we are the best footballing side in league 2 probably 90% of those goals have some great build up play. As a side note what a threat in the air dunkley is.

No coincidence that the purple patch which took us into the top three in October happened when Jordan Graham was with us. Really lifted Macca's performance levels too I think.
Watching that video I can't think of a season with a) so many goals b) so many great goals. The amount of goals from outside the box and fabulous passing moves is phenomenal. Hylton at Wimbledon aside, we haven't really scored any crap goals.

...also, never actually realised Roofe's first against the scum was really that good until watching it on that video.

Watching some of those makes me realise how nearly Hoobs was a great player for us... If only some of his early chances had gone in, it might have sparked him towards a more respectable goal return. He was certainly great at holding the ball up and creating chances for others that way.

He was certainly great at holding the ball up and creating chances for others that way. Derek Lilley felt like a player who was a goal or two away from being very good. Andy Thomson always looked tidy too but never quite did it in from of goal. Tis a striker's lot in life I guess.

Great video!
Some things really stood out for in that:
1. So many of our goals came from the right in the first half of the season. 2. I couldn't believe how many goals Hoban was involved in. 3. Bowery looked good - it is a shame he couldn't maintain it. 4. Roofe had a lot of tap ins - right place, right time I suppose 5. We win the ball back bloody quickly! 6. Graham was amazing - it is a shame we didn't have him for the second half of the season. 7. The squad always looked together and happy for each other.
Could possibly be another watch later!

Can't believe MacDonald scored 2 with his head!! A bloke on Tuesday suggested that the sale of Roofe was a good one (I assume he meant good money for him) seeing his goals and assists here I have to disagree, we will miss him unbelievably, although clips like these make players like Bowery look like world beaters

We've lost a hell of a lot of goals from that team. Roofe, Hylton, even O'Dowda and 1-in-2 man Bowery.
I can fully understand MApp's urgency in bringing in forward options.
