The penultimate match of the season, and a win by the mighty Yellows at Brunton park could, depending on other results, see us promoted!! Around 2,000 U's fans will be venturing North to support their team, so a fantastic atmosphere is guaranteed, COYY!!! Carlisle 0 U's 2.

''Time for heroes'' and our walking wounded will be saluted as heroes if they can pull off a win tomorrow. Sounds like Johnny Mullins is a big doubt, but 'Mr Magic' Kemar trained yesterday apparently, and generally the injuries are improving. Whatever the starting line up they will no doubt want to give a good account of themselves.

We'll win but so will Rovers and Stanley. Plymouth will draw their game. It'll all go down to the final game of the season, no doubt in my mind

I just can't see Rovers not taking six points from their remaining two and Accrington are still bang at it. Two wins from two and we are there. Just make sure we return from the darkest depths of Cumbria with three points.

Carlisle have nothing to play for, Oxford have key players back, Oxford will have a fantastic support which will inspire the mighty Yellows to a convincing 3-0 win. Maguire, Roofe and Sercombe to score. I'm leaving for Blackpool in the next hour. See you all in the Magpie xx

Safe journey to the travelling army. I am going to be stuck at a wedding on Saturday afternoon and I am told there is no wifi! Praying for three points and an inspired performance from the York City goalkeeper!

Looks like I'll be stuck in Essex unable to make the long trip and it's my Birthday today. A win would be amazing.
Occurred to me that Carlisle would prefer the shorter trip to Accrington so should make it easier for us to win so that we might keep Stanley down! Also they might want to remember the 'superb people of Oxford' when they last played us and our generosity after their floods!!

Leaving Abingdon @ 6.30. Praying for a win and a favour from the Minstermen! 2-1 Oxford with goals from Hylts and Sercs with 1,788 yellows cheering us to 3 points and then going mental when hearing of York's 93rd minute equaliser against Brizzle!

last time I predicted a loss and we won. I've not yet got a correct score this season, so reluctantly the sensible thing to do is predict the worst case scenario so it won't happen.
So I'll go for Carlisle 2-1. Bristol win their game and Accrington draw. Masses of Wycombe tickets flood the black market on Monday. (Actually not too worried about this game as you know the real Oxford will turn up and give it a try, no matter what the score)
Can we pay at the gate? And will we sell out? Thinking of making the journey.

Any betters out there, might be worth sticking a fiver on Carlisle to win the first half and Oxford to win the second, some pretty good odds. Going for a 3-1 to the U's.

WARNING: The roadworks around Junctions 19/20 on the M6 will take the best part of an hour to get through. I drove up to the Lakes on Tuesday and suffered it.

We'll win but so will Rovers and Stanley. Plymouth will draw their game. It'll all go down to the final game of the season, no doubt in my mind I would almost settle for that. But certainly Accrington and us have pretty tough games. I would not put too much money on all of these 3 games all working out like this and reckon you would get some reasonable odds...

(That doesn't mean that I think United won't and the others will.) I'm also expecting Cambridge to beat Plymouth.

Roadwork between 19 and 20 pretty good this morning, got through them fine. Plenty of snow on the hills but apparently no snow in Carlisle today.

As Appleton has never won (or even drawn) at Brunton Park, I'm going to stick with the same score that I (wrongly) predicted last week - Carlisle 2, Oxford 1. I fancy Cambridge to beat Plymouth and York to grab at least point at home to Rovers - it should be their last home game at Bootham Crescent, so they'll want to go out on a high point.
