I think Paul needs to have a look at the size of other teams playing staff before you come up with the ill informed comments like you have on this thread. Other teams keep their failures on their books, probably because they have stitched themselves into long contracts.
According to their last accounts: Wycombe had 60 players & management; Southend had 73 players, training and coaching staff; Shrewsbury had 35 players; Gillingham and Port Vale had 42 players; Crewe had 74 players & management.
I suggest that Wilder has had relatively few players at his disposal in comparison and they do not stay on the books for long if they are considered failures.

Baker and Hackney were reasonable players. Doble wasn't here long enough to judge but did well against Bury but otherwise nondescript, saying that Southampton obviously rate him as they gave him a new contract. Who are these 'many more', as you are clutching at straws with that list with only Grant being bad? Also, many good signings as well but that contradicts your point so just ignore . And just like all managers who have signed more than 2 or 3 players, they never get it 100% right. Fortunately, we have KT who recognises a good manager and as a result we are back in the Football League, doing reasonably well and have improved year on year so far in his 2 and half seasons in charge. This season alone:- Baker Franks Futcher Matt Green Philliskirk Wooton Eastwood Hackney Tonkin Sangare plus the players who started the season on contracts:- Kinniburgh Deering Purkiss & Hanson. Thats just this season so dont throw accusations against other manager like Di Canio when we also have problems when it comes to signing players not deemed good enough for the 4 tier of the FL. I refer you to Tatabanya's post as that covers the players for me. To add that Hackney has also played L2 or higher since Carlisle got back into the FL shows he is good enough for L2 also. I haven't mentioned Di Canio! That said you can't dismiss what other managers do with signings as they don't have perfect records either (which is what you appear to be demanding of CW). Hence why most teams have plenty of transfer activity. Your post is laughable tbh, the use of hindsight to have a dig at CW is also fantastic. Of those on the list (and not at OUFC) you made, 1 was in the Championship (Philliskirk on loan to Sheff Utd), 2 in L1, 2 in L2, 1 in BSP, 4 without clubs. Doesn't tally with your point that they all aren't good enough for L2! Edit: Futcher has just signed a 1 year contract with Bury so will be playing in L1 next year.
