I did not miss the point. You said: "You only say this because you like to be negative as well." I was pointing out the inaccuracy of that statement and pulling you up on your divisiveness. yep you defend someone so negative as Socrates because you think it defends you when you are negative, which you have been from time to time. But like ive said almost every poster out there also post positive things as well And again in English, perhaps?

Considering all the factors, that was a point gained and bloody well earned, imho. Well done to all involved.

No matter how you dress it up, yesterday's 1st half performance was absolutely dire. I actually thought that Long gave us better balance once he grew into the game. Real shame for Mullins, which came about because he's had to over exert himself over the last couple of games due to being out of position. Shame we didn't have the confidence to start Long at right back as he looked ok there from a fitness perspective.
Felt we should have started Waring as he creates space for others and also started with Hylton. Bowery gives more to the team when coming off the bench, especially with his pace etc.
Really feel that we dropped 2 if not 4 points over the Easter games, shame.

Just back home after stopping for something to eat just outside Cambridge, Not one of the better away games and experiences today - * Cambridge supporters club was home fans only even after the stewards waved us through towards it. * The "Wrestlers" pub was quite small and filled up quickly with yellows from just after mid day which made it hard to get served from 1.00pm onwards. * The "official" stance from both clubs made the game "all ticket" for away fans from last Wednesday and stated that you should not travel if you have not got one, however there was one turnstile that was clearly marked as pay on the day and cash only which was obviously in use and there was a terrace that housed 700-800 completely unused. * My flag was searched on entry only to be told later by some "jobswoth" steward that flags were not allowed to be erected today. * The referee missed (or bottled) a clear penalty when Hylts was sent flying in the box. On the whole, we were treated to a game that had a lot of huff and puff, some crunching challenges, a lot of long balls with very little quality in the final third of the pitch by both teams which we have really not been used to this season, especially on our travels. . On the positive side, we did not lose and come the end of the season it may prove to be a very good point especially with our goal difference being so good and a lot better than the chasing pack. . Day out - 6/10 Team performance - 6/10 Result - 5/10 (amended to 7/10 with the Bristol Rovers result) I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your day as much as you might have done. Having a pre-match drink before Cambridge games is a real problem because The Wrestlers is the only pub nearby and, as you say, is very small. It's a shame that the supporters' club doesn't allow away fans to go in. But then I don't think that the Manor Bar does either (though I did spot a couple of Cambridge fans in there when we played them at home in December). On the other hand, away fans are able to go in many social clubs and bars such as those at Dagenham, Notts County, Stevenage and AFC Wimbledon, which is the way it should be. I'd never in fact been in the Cambridge supporters' club until yesterday: I was allowed in because I was a guest of a former Cambridge player who in turn was a guest of one of the supporters' groups. It's very spacious, so could most probably have accommodated a fair number of our fans without much trouble. The terracing along the side of the pitch that you mention is normally closed. But I'm sure that I've been to a game against Luton at the Abbey Stadium in recent seasons where it was open to their fans. As for the game, the Cambridge supporters I spoke to afterwards all said it was "very good and entertaining" and, like the manager, were pleased with their team's performance.

Which ex-Cambridge player were you a guest of?

I must admit that I thought the same- until he came on. Hylton looked knackered in the last 10 minutes (I know that he can give the impression of being shattered but on Saturday it seemed to me that his legs went a little). I think that the changes were made due to the shift that everybody had to put in on Friday. At the end of the game both sets of players looked as if they had totally run out of steam. The good news is that Wembley is almost a week away and then there is only one midweek game left. Added to COD and Kenny especially being back (and Lundstrom after the Crawley game), we should go into the last 6 games with far more options and fresher.
