I expect a win! No less.
Time for Oxford United to be counted. Our season starts here. Eleven Cup Finals to go, and a chance to settle a few scores -- particularly a 2 - 0
COYYs!!

I'm looking forward to seeing a revitalized Johnny Lundstram return to the team.

This will be a tough game could be a 1-0 or 2-0 to Oxford as lok gas we don't do what we did at there place and allow them back into the game

silky skills of Oxford v the arial bombardment and 'gamesmanship' of the cockney wankers, home win 3-2 Bowrey, Sercs and Maguire

Tight game...plenty of high balls into the box if the second half at their place is anything to go by. I'm going though for a slightly nervy 2-1 win for the YELLOWS with first half goals by Bowery & Roofe with us holding on for 3 points at the end.
Attendance: 7,423 (802 away)

Sorry for the late update on the Blackbird buffet for the Orient match, I was doing a new concept soup kitchen for Iain Duncan Smith. It wasn't the food that took the time, there wasn't any, obviously. No, unfortunately as I was wearing Converse and sporting a beard IDS decided I looked like a Muslim so I've been in Paddington Green for the last 36 hours.
Keeping it simple:
Thousand year old quails' eggs Szechuan samphire from Osney (gathered as ever by londonroader - respeck!) Oysters and cod cheeks with a dash of miiju on jackets of Hearne Bay soft crabshell Chicken no-lan (not very nice, tbf) Ling and turgott with pak choi Ping pong pork balls (Landlord's promised to get the table out in the car park) And for desert an old favourite returns - Almond Gnanduillets
Wine. Gros plant, the tang of the Loire.
We will win, COYY!

Almond Gnanduillets sound particularly interesting, but will there be some Odubade torte for those of us with a nut allergy?

What happened 10 years ago is not important now. I hope the players get motivated by that fact and destroy Leyton Orient. We need revenge!

What i would give to win our next 2 home games!, it would be a huge step to taking us almost home and dry for the autos, surely?!, Oxford generally don't do things the easy way but maybe (just maybe) the tide has finally turned and we are all due a nice comfortable run-in to the end of the season.
Oxford 2 Orient 1 Roofe and Bowery

Afternoon all. Three points today boys, a draw will not do at home any more for the rest of the season. Don't mind away but we must win at home as we cannot fail, now we are so close, and must not throw it away.
COME ON YOU YELLOWS
