I recently helped out a local urban artist who does landscapes and football grounds. Giving him some manor ground photos to work with to create a manor print as well as a kassam one. Said I'd put the details on here, and have also spoken to the club ,as well as the yellow army to see if they would be interested in selling them direct. www.urbancolours.co.uk/products/oxford-united-manor-groundwww.urbancolours.co.uk/products/oxford-united-kassam-stadiumMounted print. £39 inc p&p Framed print in black or oak £59 inc p&p Print dimensions. 12.5x12.5cm Frame dimensions. 29.5x29.5cm I'm not on commission or anything like that, but thought they were quite cool and would make a decent present with Xmas coming up. He took the manor ones to a craft fair in Henley and sold 6 so they could go well

If it wasn't for the risk of the kids ruining them I would love to see something like that painted on the wall on the north stand.
Excellent work by the way, look really good.

Have they thought of putting the 2 images into 1 print as that would be fantastic, showing past, present and potentially future.

I'm sure he'd be able to sort something out if you want one

I like them OUFC yellows. It’s hard to add character to the Kassam Stadium, but the perspective with the ox in the foreground and the stadium at the back is a good one.
Just a thought, since the Kassam isn’t much of a ‘looker’ from the outside, would your artist friend consider doing any from the inside? I’m thinking the iconic Mark Creighton last minute winner versus York from the promotion year or perhaps Oli Johnson and/or Asa Hall sliding in their goals against Swindon?

Very nice work, like the Manor one a lot. Why anyone would want to hang something up showing the Kassam I have no idea.

I'm sorry but pwoufc would do a much better job, as he has done so before for the club and the 12th man fund. He also wouldn't lower his standards to produce pictures of that sewage works down the A420.

Depends what u class as better ? It's his style of painting, and it's a personal taste preference as to what you like. Like saying banksy is better that Rembrandt as it more modern

Pity the Ox has had his tackle cut out of the kasham one, imo it's an important piece, to the Ox too!!

The Manor one looks exactly how it appeared on emerging from the Brit after a jar or three!!

Yes, you're technically correct of course, but similar to a famous quote in 'Dad's Army' ''Don't tell em your name Pike'' - Don't mention the under carriage on our otherwise impressive Ox/Bull, it's sacrilege!!

I think that's to draw your eye to it. Or so a more arty type told me. You don't have to have them framed, you can just get the prints and do your own framing

In all seriousness they look great and will be added to my Christmas list!
Hoping the artist will do a version together in one frame.

Na, that's the same as i got just checking. When I was sending him the photos and helping with which I thought would be the most iconic view, I went back to him saying that it would be good to have London rd on the street sign and the welcome to Oxford United on the stand. At least he did update the kassam one to include the badge

Joins the five or six OUFC related pictures up in the house - there are about 90 pictures up in our house so it's not quite as sad as it might first sound!
