I'm a member of OxVox, I haven't any questions for the new owners- but I'd like to welcome and congratulate them on the impressive way they have conducted themselves and how they look to be laying the cornerstones to build for future success.

I'd like you to ask, what is their reason/motive for buying into the club? Also, are they aware about the housing situation and the potential for the coucil to use the stadium land to build these houses, and does this have any impact on them getting involved?
What does Lenagan's role really mean? Stadium Development? e.g. buy Kassam or elsewhere? Also what is the expected timeframe to complete this? And why does Lenagan believe he can negotiate a better deal with Kassam when he hasn't acheived this in the past 7-8 years? Kassam only talks to people with money and I take it as Lenagan asked Eales to get involved he was running a bit short of money to invest further.
Why is it important to purchase the stadium when Lenagan said it wasn't..what's changed?
What is the true percentage split of the ownership of the club?
Does Lenagan still have a say in what happens at the club?
When will they be having a fans forum?

I'd like you to ask them to pose a question to Ian lenegen. it was quite the hot topic on here when lenegen said charlies bid required the stadium to be purchased in advance. charlie has said this isn't true and oxvox has been sent his bid. so can we ask by this inaccuracy was said by a member of the board? furthermore can we ask how much they paid for the club and what the debt level is? again charlies bid would have left the club debt free. surely the debt level has been iradicated to lenegen. my bid concern is we have clearly spent a lot paying off kitson/waddock, Ashton/appleton/faz will be on a decent wedge as will the new video analyst. If the budget is also going up by 250k as eales suggested then our cost base has rapidly grown in 4 weeks and we already make nearly 1m loss. so how will we bear this costs and who's the debt going to be placed on.

Steve, I appreciate you bringing this up again, but I think it's time to move on (unless the original untrue claim is repeated). It's not Eales' fault that the bid we made was mis-represented publicly. OxVox's time with him is precious, and they need to ask the questions that matter for the future, not go back over what is now irrelevant history. Your point about debt, by contrast, is obviously and blindingly relevant. Despite what some neanderthals on here have claimed, the club being effectively insolvent by a ginormous and growing margin is really, really bad news. It has long been my belief that when you invest in a football club then you are betting your money on making a success out of it. If the gamble comes off, and in 5 years you sell a Championship club for £50 million, then it was a successful gamble, and you make a lot of money. If, on the other hand, you make several catastrophic errors of judgement, which cost the club millions, why should the club then owe you money for those mistakes? And why should someone who then comes in to 'save' the club have to expend precious £s paying you back for the mistakes you have made, rather than than sinking his money into the future of the club? I know it seems to be common practice, but it seems to me to be a not entirely intellectually honest way of having cake and eating it. This kind of owner keeps talking about the money they are 'putting in' without ever reminding their audience that it is money they will want back - and sometimes want that money back pretty sharpish. Now I am not saying, at all, that this is what Darryl Eales is doing. I have no idea about the current financing of the club. Literally none. I wait, like any other fan, for answers from the OxVox meeting. But,to my mind, it is a highly relevant question. Because if we are going to end up £10 million in debt, with no assets, then history tells us what happens next. Owner runs out of money, needs his money back out of the club, and then sells to the person who is willing to give him as much of the 'debt' back as possible. In this case (ie next time around) that will be someone (a la Firoz) with his eyes on Water Eaton, and all the goodies that might bring. For all the 'the sun has got his hat on' merchants, I will only say this. Water Eaton is a potentially huge opportunity. You can view my consortium's bid as effectively an attempt to ensure that the club got to take its big opportunity this time, after scrwwing it up in the late 1990s (imagine what fun we would all have had for the last 20 years if Robin Herd had actually managed to finish building Grenoble Road as OUFC's stadium - we'd be hugely well off). So, as you can imagine, I am desperately keen to see the stable financial plan which will enable the club to - finally - reach its potential.

Charlie -
I appreciate you may not be able to answer this fully if you are party to confidential information.
But I presume when you got involved the bid you and the other investors had answers to the following:
Is there a fixed amount written into the contract for which the club can buy the stadium from Kassam? How far along is the Water Eaton proposal? Who is on board with it, and in your view - is it likely or even possible?
Thanks.
