I don't think this perceived disunity is helping the man on the Barton omnibus to understand how he can best help OUFC become grate again.
So I propose a customer-facing umbrella to be managed by me (the only person on the forum who can right proper sentences) and called Factions United can kick Oxford Forwards Fast; obviously that's a bit of a mouthful so we'll just refer to me by the acronym.
Thanks.

Thank you Trevor and fellow 12th man volunteers for clarifying your position regarding what you do. I want to make it clear that I have a great deal of respect for what you have and still do for OUFC. However... My issue with the 12th man organisation at present is that you have aligned yourself with the yellow voice forum. Why do you have a section on a forum which when you google "Oxford United forum" doesn't even appear on the first, second, third, fourth, fifth or even the sixth page of results? It may appear no the seventh page but when I started getting result returned talking about a hotel in Torquay even I got bored. How do you expect people to communicate with you beyond your physical presence at the ground every two weeks? If you are serious about getting more people involved the this is the most popular forum and this is the one you should have a presence on. Whether you like it or not that forum is also just a site for people with some trumped up problems regarding Oxvox and in particular Mark Sennett. If they had something of substance beyond making factless accusation then maybe people would listen to them but having had the misfortune of hearing one of them talk at a recent Oxvox meeting it was obvious they did not. I think your organisation is and will continue to be stained by this association and unless a proper dialogue is in place to organise one effective fund raising group you will eventually, sadly become irrelevant because as other have already said here 15k for player funds is now a drop in the ocean. Being involved in improving the match day experience is a much more effective cause in my opinion. Well, forums aren't the only way to reach people. But that aside, to answer your point about a forum presence, the 12th Man has a sticky thread only on this forum, which was kindly set up by admin some time ago. I asked admin to create a 12th Man section back in last July but we didn't get a reply. I assumed that it was felt by admin that a sticky thread was enough. Yellow Voice agreed to create a section, so that's why there is one there and not here. We would of course be delighted to have a full section on Yellows Forum if admin are willing.

I find it a bit bizarre that we actually have different factions, surely the club motto is 'United we Stand' yet not much of an example being set by having multiple fans groups.
I would be reluctant to donate money to any of them without the confidence of it going where I wanted. I don't want to contribute to a global pot that then gets used on something I don't feel important although I appreciate others may feel it valid.
One fans group with donations going to different pots that I can direct my donation to would be so much better, any donation I make I'd want to go to the long term stability of the club not transfers, player sponsorship etc. something like youth development and a stadium purchase and I'm in.
I'm an OxVox member but beginning to lose sight in what each group is now trying to achieve.
Nothing against any individuals as I don't know any of you but surely pulling together under one banner is the way forward?

I can't make head nor tail of that 'announcement'. Does it basically say 'Marketing speak, marketing speak... The Yellow Army is going to be doing some more (completely unspecified) stuff. Marketing speak, marketing speak... The 12th Man is no longer working with the Yellow Army. Marketing speak, marketing speak..."? Might it have been better to wait until there was actually something to announce - or am I missing something? Perhaps the Yellow Army wanted to communicate what the latest developments were and keep people informed? I am not part of the Yellow Army working group but will consider joining.Good luck with your considered joing of the Yellow Army working group Brahmabull.... though dont you need to be approved and appointed by 'someone' within OUFC Club administration to be part of the elite who were hand picked to 'steer'the Yellow Army ......or did I miss something? ..... and those who apparently represent mine and every other Oxford United supporter's 'interests' have been democractically elected AND are therefore accountable to those they purport to represent?

It's another something and nothing thing on there. I do question why Trevor Lambert spent a grand on the 12th man.
The whole thing is a rather sad mess. It all started with the right intentions, but went wrong.

They're not organised Trevor Lambert this Mark Sennet that it is a complete mess are there any books that can be looked at ( the financial ones ) where they can be scrutinised by the supporters. To tell us exactly what has been spent. Obviously merchandise and certain players. I would like to know what has been spent and on what and whom. Also if as someone said in an earlier post it will be the official's picking who runs the Yellow Army, which if true is not democratic nd they could be classed as yes men.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the books per se, I just wonder why someone was funding it off their own back. If it's running costs, then perhaps people could donate instead so the load wasn't taken on by one person. I respect why he will have done it, but I don't think it was necessary.
