Over the christmas holidays we've been starting the work to get a new member survey out early next year focused on ticket pricing for the 2014/15 season (to help us formulate the Trust's input into the Club's planning for this) and the issue of safe standing. As you may have noticed, the issue of safe standing is now on the Football League's agenda for February (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25526329). Ian Lenagan discussed the issue with us at our last meeting and was supportive of looking at this. Given the apparent possibility of movement on this issue it would be useful to know the member consensus on this issue. It would be helpful in our planning if you could let us know if there are particular issues you think we should be asking members for their views on or questions we should pose. Currently the plan is something like this: Ticket pricing:For season ticket holders: - If you anticipate renewing for next season,
- Reasons behind decision (price, value for money, quality of football, results, personal circumstances)
- What rise do you think is acceptable if we are promoted?
- Have you used the 'added value' elements of the season ticket, what you think of them (particularly 12th Man Bar), and if not, why not?
- Any other benefits you would like to see offered as part of the season ticket package.
We'll look to break this down by ticket type and seating area. We'll do a similar set of questions for members who aren't season ticket holders on matchday prices. Safe Standing: - Would you like to see this implemented at the Kassam? If so, which stand?
- If a fourth stand were built, should this be constructed as a safe standing area?
- Have you used 'rail seating', and, if so, what do you think of it?
Let us know if you've suggestions! Cheers, Matt

Would it improve your 'matchday experience' to have a 'pub-like' environment within easy walking distance of the ground and the major car-parking areas?
By 1000% By 100% Not
And how much more would you be more willing to suffer the alleged football if such a facility was available? 10 matches 5 matches 2 matches Fewer
If such a space was available as an OUFC 'social club' during non-matchdays would you visit it: Continously As long as junior wasn't there Sometimes Rarely Never.

If we were to secure promotion to L1 then season ticket supporters tickets would increase as would the gate entry would IL is budgeting for a 4,500 crowd anything else would be a budget unaccounted for which would go towards a playing budget for L1 if we were promoted we need to get the fans back or it will be a bigger increase than what would have hoped for

Might it be possible to work with Kassam/OCC to develop a better exit flow from the car park?
I appreciate nothing could happen until the summer but it would nice for the car park to not need to funnel through one small exit bridge.
Just something which annoys me somewhat as I sit in the car for half an hour after most games - it may well put some off from attending full-stop.

I recall there were some very active indivduals and fans about 2/3 years ago who were really driving this forward and were speaking to the club. Can anyone name them? I am sure they post on here.

Just something which annoys me somewhat as I sit in the car for half an hour after most games - it may well put some off from attending full-stop. Myself and my old man have been saying for ages that after the game no one should be allowed to enter the car park for say 20mins/30mins. Then both lanes can be used. Left to go left at the round-a-bout and right, you guessed it, to go right.

Just a quick reminder that the survey closes at the end of the week, and we're keen to see as many members as possible take part. The more responses we have, the better we understand everyone's views so that we can better represent these to the Club, and the more reliable that input is.
It's something to do if you're spending most of the day clicking refresh to see if there's any news about Chris Wilder!..
I should have also added our thanks to Simon Atkinson who helped out with the design of the survey... if you were wondering about the noticeable improvement...
Cheers,
Matt.
