To be honest the writing has been on the wall for a while, and he sounded like he's finally given up hope of keeping is job. It seems like it's going to be his last game next week at Accrington.

I thought it sounded more iffy than that - like he didn't know what was going on. It wasn't certain that he is off to the Blades after that interview. When he talked about being chippy, I took it as a if I'm staying, I need to try and ignore some of the muppets in the crowd.
I did think the crowd was pretty shocking today. Very little support at 0-0.

Play off place guaranteed for Bradford so the best we can achieve is 8th place.

I think the fact that Bob who no offense, has no idea about football, is the only person who wanted Wilder to stay on the radio phone in line says it all really...

I think the fact that Bob who no offense, has no idea about football, is the only person who wanted Wilder to stay on the radio phone in line says it all really... In all seriousness though, what kind of prick goes onto a radio telling the locals where their club should be and what they should be happy with, when you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about!?!? It's like me going over there and telling all the yanks why the Miami Dolphins are a great side with a great manager. (or 'coach' as he likes to say)

Very little support at 0-0. I'm a non-season ticket holder living in London and that was my first game in a while and frankly the standard has fallen to a fuc#ing awful level. I got the impression that most regulars are rather numb to it. For many it seemed to be a choice between being outwardly and vocally critical or keeping schtum. I don't blame supporters for choosing the latter. Besides the goals, the game was a very poor reflection on the standard of the squad, the individual players and te manager himself.

Looks like Constable to be top scorer for a 4th consecutive season although 5 of his 13 goals have been in cup games.

Oxford Utd 2 (Constable, Wright) Rochdale 1 (Isaac Hunt) Att: 5363 (297 away fans) Half time entertainment: 'Ding Dong the witch's dead' sung by Neil (Pillock) Kinnock and Arfur Scarface, followed by a rendition of 'I did it my way', pre-recorded by Margaret Thatcher. Radio Oxford to ask pointless questions to Chris Wilder That American bloke to come on and declare: " Football's a stupid game, anyway!" Heslop to stick the nut on Wilder, saying: "That's for signing me from Luton - I was a hero there!" Beano to finally admit he's been putting his boots on the wrong way round Craddock to climb into a big wet paper bag and try to get out of it JPP to shake hands with an opposing player before the game and dislocate his wrist Parker, after the game, to 'score' in a brothel The fans to sing ' For he's a jolly good fellow' to the ref An aeroplane to fly past the ground, trailing a banner saying: "Wilder out - Jim Smith in" Me to be bored shitless for the next 3 months, with no footie to watch That's absolutely ridiculous! Jake Wright is injured! Shit, yes I made a boo-boo there! In my defence, I'm mental!

Wilder failed to show up at the sponsors presentation after the match. Apparently he was, to quote PRB, 'in a meeting'.

2 Games 2 Clean sheets for young Maxy, Couldn't make it today (Bloody work) how'd he play?. Got MOTM somehow? Although he didn't put a foot wrong he didn't have a difficult save to make if I recall correctly? All there shots on target were straight at him but he caught everything, came out for crosses and punched well.
