Crocombe isn't even part of the youth team, he's been in the main squad all season. And Brown could have done better for the goals we conceded, but defensively we were poor. And why on earth would I complain about it being 'only 5 minutes'? Any game time for a youth player is a good learning curve. He is a product of the youth system and, in terms of age, is a young player at OUFC. Glad to hear the second part. I just think that credit where it's due has to go to the manager. You must be delighted that Roberts is on the bench ahead of Craddock? You also forget Josh Parker can be considered 'a young player at the club'. He's still a first team squad player, just like Crocombe. Crocombe has earned his pro contract, and is therefore ready for the first team, giving him all this special treatment is just patronising. He's the same age as me, I'd absolutely hate hearing huge praise for the courage of the manager just for playing me. He's a pro footballer, he's ready to start matches, as we saw from his good performance in the JPT. Playing the younger players, who are yet to earn pro contracts, is a larger risk from the manager, because if they make a mistake they would believe their Oxford career is over, confidence gone. Oh... and YEEEEEEES! Ole ole oleeee alfieeee alfieeee

I would say he is the only player in our squad who will have beaten their target in terms of goals for the season. Yet some on here want to get rid. Puzzling.

Yet some on here want to get rid. Puzzling. Really rate Alfie, would hate to see him go. He's a great player, just needs a bit of work on his finishing and final ball. 10 goals from a winger is a very good return!

Along with ALL our forwards fair point was hoping this would be his season to push on. I think he has pushed on! Due to Rigg's serious dip in form Alfie would be my 2nd vote for POTY.

Along with ALL our forwards fair point was hoping this would be his season to push on. 10 goals so far is pretty good I think. I'd say this season he has pushed on. We're a 4th Division team, he's not Lionel Messi, but he's done OK.

At the start of the season many will have thought each of Constable, Craddock, Smalley, Potter, Pittman and Rigg could have contributed at least 6-10 goals.

Rigg on. That is a real shame. We have been told he is unfit so really thought O Dowda would come on instead of him.
Oh Rigg!
