Don't be too surprised to see him back in a Man U shirt before too long.
Fergie isn't the sort of manager, thankfully, to just go blindlingly buying galacticos. Man U like a sprinkling of homegrown talent but Ronaldo is as good as one of their own and it wont be long before he's homeward bound.
Within the next two seasons he will be back.

Forgot to say, these Qatari boys wont give two hoots about how much Madrid want.
I'd like to see Ronaldo, Reina, Schwienstiger and Puyol join.
Should get that lot for just under £200m and then spend another couple of hundred mill replacing some of the older legs in the squad.

I'm sure you're trolling baldy. If you really think madrid will sell Ronaldo back to man u you're even weirder than I thought. EDIT: oh, and what do you want Reina for, fergie already has 'the next schmeichel.'

You dont half set yourself up for a fall by making all these predictions.
I remember you last season guarenteeing that Man U would win the title.... then there was your posts saying you were signing every man and his dog with the £100m 'warchest' that you seem convinced Man U had
Lots of chat that result in nothing, hope your not a betting man ;D

You would have a great team for sure, but no European football as the new FFP regulations would see you excluded. Still , nice idea

You could probably just about afford the Brazilian Ronaldo now. Probably more mobile than Shrek and the donkey you have up front at the moment.

Ronaldo will probably go back to Man U.
Not sure about the next 2 years. Maybe within the next 10 years. He's only 26 now isn't he?

I'll try find some quotes.
Why would he not love the club? They made him what he is today. Looked after his family helped turn him into the man he is today...

Hmmm, 24 goals so far this season in La Liga? Yeah I'm sure Ronaldo will be surpless to requirements at the Bernabau. Who needs Ronadlo when you can replace him with sublimely talented Wayne Rooney who's scored a phenomenal 5 goals already this season. Only 1 less than Park Ji-Sung (bit-part midfielder). ;D

Stranger things happen in football.....
I am looking forward to trying to catch the 2nd half of the football before our game tomorrow - lets hope City try and take Man U on (so its a decent game, rather then the game at City or the pitiful performance at Arsenal).

The madrid fans have never taken to him in the way the Man U fans did. When he left he actually said he would love to return and play for Man U again. Look at the list - Tevez, Beckham, van Nistlerooy, Heinze, Stam, Ince, Yorke.......it goes on and on......these were all gutted to be shown the door and their careers pretty much nose dived as soon as they left.

He hated being there at the end. He hated Manchester. He fell out with Fergie. Manchester United have little integrity though so Im sure theyd love him back. I doubt he'd go back though. They've got Glazer debts to be paying.

But Man City will just out bid you, their Arabs are richer than your Arabs. Con-siderably richer. There's a modern twist on the old Harry Enfield sketch in there somewhere Baldy, this footballing fan-fic basically, Ronaldo won't get going back near Man United. No disrespect but this is the sort of far-fetched wishful thinking you'd associate more with a teenage boy who's just played Football Manager on PC for the first time.

Real Madrid played three games less than Man Utd for those 54 points though. Your point is? Oh - you're on about Man Utd being top, and Real second? Well there is one major difference between the Premier League and La Liga - And that difference is Barcelona, who are pretty much untouchable at the moment. Man Utd wouldn't stand a chance against them.

Big statement to make, Bald. Strictly speaking, many of those on the list went on to equal success at other clubs - winning various La Liga titles and other trophies. You could argue that none of them remained part of a dominating Manchester United side in England, but to say that they all went off the rails is unfair. There are lots of ways to measure individual 'success' of a footballer. Gabriel Heinze has won more trophies since leaving Man United than he won when he was there, but now he's playing for a 'lesser' team in Marseilles. Different ways of measuring a career. How many players has SAF brought back to Old Trafford in the past? It can't be many, if any at all. This would surely be the biggest signing in all of football should it occur. I don't think it will happen though - Ronaldo is well settled in Madrid and I think he would be there for a good time yet.

Another thing to think about is just because they are billionaires, you can't assume that Man Utd are suddenlt going to be splashing out 50mil here, 80 mil there willy-nilly on Iniesta, Fabregas, Schweinsteiger etc. I remember a few years back some multi-millionaire from Tanzania. I believe he had about 200 million to his name, but how much of that went towards to transfers? Hardly a penny. In fact the miserly tightwad is still digging his heels in over a couple of million regarding the sale of the stadium, despite making a nice tidy profit on the sale of the land where the Manor once was.
