Terrible news. Wonder how far out of his goal he was when it happened? Get well soon.

I don't know if you're fishing or genuine baldy. Whichever way you must be the biggest t#sser on this forum. Still nothing about Billy i see as well. You're a c#ck bald, you really are. I mean you obviously don't give a sh!t about one of the better players in the club's recent history so how about you f#ck off to a man U forum where you could enjoy yourself with the other w#nkers. How about you put your axe-grinding on one side and have a bit of humanity eh balderdash? You need to calm down a bit and learn to laugh at yourself. I ridiculed you for asking a stupid question and you've gone completely over the top. To suggest I'm belittling Turleys injury is silly, I just see you using that because you dont like the fact you have been shown up. Its not as though you've ever gone off topic and had a sly dig at me is it. Grow up. Brilliant. I nearly split my sides laughing when I read that gem. Exactly how have I been shown up? I see self delusion is still alive and well in the wonderful world of baldy.

Lets think about it. Contact sport, play the game in a position that is head on to the opposition attack and in a position that spends more time hitting the ground than any other player. You thick ****.

Any chance you can leave your personal stuff alone in this thread Baldy? Please?
Apparently Billy turned his leg in the turf. Sounds very painful.

I can see this ending in full on, violent, all over the place sex at this rate. Get a room, ladies. Get well soon, Billy. Great 'keeper and great character. We are probably the only club that would give him applause should he ever turn up as the Kass again.

Like CB said, how about you leave the personal stuff out and focus on the real meaning of this thread.

IMHO the closest thing we have had to an Oxford "legend" since Paul Moody (Beano and Clarkie are on the good road there though). Where was it where he was sat on a van roof with the RadOx boys commentating? Tonbridge Angels?
Get well soon Elvis!

To be fair to him - it was a f*cking stupid question.
To be fair to you he said it with no indication of joking but in a - as you say 'axe-grinding' fashion.

When was the last time you heard about a goalie getting a broken leg? Head injuries, broken fingers/hands sprained twisted wrists, shoulder injuries, fair enough, but you don't expect broken legs. I understand the goalkeeper comes in for a lot of physical contact during your average game but as I said in my initial post its not like you see them going in for a lot of crunching challenges is it? The thrust of my point was that perhaps the injury was as a result of a nasty foul. Apparently he's caught his studs in the turf and that's how its happened. The words storm and teacup come to mind, but there would have been no storm were it not for baldy's moronic posturing.

I'd think keepers are one of the most likey to break their legs though surely?
If they are going in for a challenge its most likely going to be tight. Coupet broke his leg just by trying to keep the ball from a corner and landing on a his own leg. Its a football pitch with studs. The likelihood of a player breaking their leg is always a possibility whatever position they play.

I think Baldy's original reply was unnecessary but then so was your tirade (something i've been guilty of in the past). It wasn't that stupid a question in that I agree, I also cannot recall off the top of my head when a keeper broke a leg before. Somewhat surprising really when you think about it. As you said though - storm in a teacup........
