Yet sections of Leeds fans still don't rate him... Really?! I know some who don’t like him playing on the wing and prefer him down the middle which he was always better at when here.

Yep. Was at the villa game a week or so ago and they are at best 50/50 on him. That's most likely changed after his performance v QPR but there were many doubters.
As for those who say he's just another player. Well yea, he is. However, he was so special for us. Without him we wouldn't have been close to promotion. He also went about his move the right way (hi Callum, Lunny)
When legends are spoke about for this football club, he's certainly up there. For the more modern day fans, he's far more of an important, and better player than Constable will ever be.

Both were instrumental in getting us promoted. I’d argue the BSP promotion was more significant to the club than our L2 promotion. I love both however, so not wishing to start any kind of slanging match.

I'll bite then! Roofe was fantastic for us and there's no doubt that we did very well out of his time here. He's obviously a better player than Constable ever was, but Beano was often the only positive light in a very dark time for the club, our top scorer and talisman who turned in big performances in some big games.

Legend is used a bit too lightly these days. I'd say we're talking about the likes of Big Ron Aldo Shotts Briggsy Matty Eliott Steve Anthrobus...

I’d class players like Mike Ford, Joey, Chrissy Allen, Moody, Phil Whitehead and Les Robinson as club legends too. I would never class Roofe as a legend. Great player for us but he wasn’t here long enough to be classed as a legend.
