First time match thread creator.
Argyle 0 Oxford 3 Thomas, Payne, Obika.
The mighty yellows show plenty of resolve, spirit and no little skill to trounce the men in green.
Pep goes against his natural instinct with a 4-4-2 formation and is declared a tactical genius.

Positive about tomorrow. Martin to open the scoring in the 1st half. Henry to seal the points in the last 10.

We look really good for the first 20. Tippy tappy at its finest. Then Plymouth realise we haven't crossed the halfway line. They 'lump it up to the big man' and win 3-0. Tiandelli asks to come off after 35 as the game is 'a bit fast' and he's 'quite tired'. Pep is 'really pleased' as we're on a 'learning curve'

Plymouth play the way they do every week - sit 10 men behind the ball and let the opposition have the possession and play tippy-tappy football, then they punt a long ball up to Carey who scores. 1-0 to them I'm afraid. Pity as I'll be there

Early start in the morning, 10 minutes to scrape the frost off the car before heading off to get the LRC coach. Looking to sleep all the way down there then see Oxford take 3 points off the Janners. Hope I've woken up before that last bit and it's not just a dream.
COYY 😀😀😀

Just don't see us taking anything from this. But, no worries, Pep has them "fokussed".

With the state of the team at the moment, we will be lucky to come away with a narrow defeat never mind anything better.
Plymouth 2 Oxford 0 (we will have six shots, 2 of which will be on target and someone else will get injured)

2-0 Yellows. I think we always do well to get a result when everyone expects nothing.

We won't keep a clean sheet but I reckon we'll win. Hopefully this game can be a turning point, God knows we need one.
Eastwood Carroll Martin Mous Ricardinho Ledson Ruffels Henry Payne Rothwell Thomas
2-1, concede early before Thomas gets two in the second half. COYY

3-0 defeat and an Eastwood double leg break to confound the misery. Wes Thomas to be struck by lightning, Mike Williamson to spontaneously combust and James Henry to choke on someone else’s vomit.
I genuinely don’t want that to happen but the way things have felt and played out lately, that would be par for the course.

I have predicted we will win the last 6 games and we haven't so for that reason alone i am predicting a loss for us today to try and break the mould.
Plymouth 2 - Oxford 1 (Rothwell)

Can't see us getting anything from this today. Unfortunately with Blackburn at home on Tuesday I can't see where our next point is coming from.
Our leaky defence will only get leakier without Nelson. We need Mowatt to pull his finger out and start performing to replace Hall.
We need to concentrate on defending today and hopefully pick up a much needed point.

How many do we reckon we'll take today? 500-600?

Not sure it would be a good idea to replace our only player with pace (and the only decent player against Northampton) with another pedestrian type. We must already have the slowest team in the division.

Going to miss today's win in the south-west. Our neighbours are celebrating? 50 years of married war bliss. I have to attend because the noise from the disco will overpower even iFollow's "perfect" sound quality.
So, as usual (glass half full of Thai live shrimp soup), a win forecast from me ( 1-3) and no running scores unless the dj doesn't turn up.

How many do we reckon we'll take today? 500-600? How times change, 2000 under Appleton, 500 under Clotet.
