It looks as if Nelson has injured his Achilles, if it's ruptured he's out for several months.
So we're going to need a new skipper, who's it to be?
Mousinho seems the logical choice to me, a regular starter, experienced,

Mousinho. Is there anyone else who's remotely capable?

If Nelson has done his Achilles as suspected then that's his season over, considering we're less than six months away from the final game. I don't think he will play for us again, in all honesty. He'll get fit and be moved on after the club activates his third year option. If he has one, that is. If he doesn't he'll walk in June.
Mousinho seems the most logical choice but in all honesty we're low on personality across the board. The fact that he's played a lot of games and is a guaranteed starter may be enough to get him it by default. That said, I would not be remotely surprised to see it go to someone really odd and unexpected.

Huge shame if that’s the case. Mousinho or Easty for me.

Has to be Mousinho for me.
If nothing else, he is consistent, solid and has various leadership qualities.

Tiendalli. He'll be nowhere near the action. So has plenty of time to take an overview of the game, and act as Pep's on field General.

Who’s the official vice captain ? If we even have one these days ? Riberio has been captain when Nelson hasn't played I think. I'd put Lego's name forward, although Mous is the obvious choice he's only been here couple of months.

Just thinking outside the box; Josh Ruffels. If he starts & as he's our longest serving player. I'm aware he's not the most vocal

Who was captain for the FA Cup game in Nelson's absence?
For me, it has to be Mousinho, mainly for the experience.

Mousinho is the obvious choice to captain in Nelson's stead. I don't know if you're implying we remove Nelson of the captaincy (which is something I wouldn't do), but for the time being you could have Nelson as the club captain and Mous as the team captain.
Also, Ledson does have the passion and in future will have the leadership qualities, but is one of the youngest first team players in the squad so you wouldn't give it to him.

Mousinho or Ledson I'd give it Ledson personally It would work well for either of them as they would get the moral authority to dig people out if required. That maybe more difficult to do if you feel reletively new to the club or are 20 years old....

Ruffels deserves it. Glue in the midfield someone who loves the club. But if not him then Ledson. Young lad full of passion, giving him that responsibility would allow him to step his game up to the next level of development and would up his value significantly aswell.

Dunno about that, I honestly think it made lunny worse with the added pressure

Mousinho or Ribiero for me, based on other games this season. More than likely to be Mousinho as he's been in the side regularly since signing

Definitely Mousinho for me.
Experienced, determined, vocal, sounded very intelligent when he gave interview to Radox.

Eastwood. The only player we can currently rely on to do the basics right. Some people have questioned if he is as good as last year, but crikey he is having to do a lot more. Overall, just think back and remember how many crosses or corners he has dropped or shots he has fumbled. Blackpool away? Yes, but he made 3 or 4 absolutely storming saves - it was like the Alamo we were so under siege in the first half! He's our best player, one of the obviously stronger characters when you meet him and is guaranteed his place.

Definitely Mousinho for me. Experienced, determined, vocal, sounded very intelligent when he gave interview to Radox. It is true that Mousinho is more or less the only player to have been interviewed after a defeat who sounded as if he was talking in his own words rather than hashing out a spiel from a cult leader. Listening to Wes on Saturday was truly painful, poor chap.

Agreed Eastwood for me too. He’s still had some decent performances this season including Saturday where he put in a couple of great saves.
He’s probably been one of our most consistent player over the last season or so and is trust him to control or at least marshal from the back.
Ledson is definitely not ready at the moment.
