Had a stroll through the East Car Park as I came in about 2-ish - only difference I saw was that there were no cars in the walkways. There were cars parked on the verges outside, in the carpark itself, cars were parked outside bays on the end of the rows and plenty of cars were in the disabled bays without blue badges on display. Dunno if the exit was any quicker afterwards

I know a man who never knowingly parks in a space in the OUFC car parks (not me). You're not the guy in the silver mondeo who parks in the bush?

Which is why even when the gate closed about 1.30 they were still letting in 10/20 cars as there were still spaces dotted about

No one seems to move for ages then everyone seems to bundle together! Needs sorting before any accidents occur

Probably where the cars out side the car park we’re still up on the verge, slows everything down as they bump down to get in the line. Once ur at the Roundabout it’s clear. Did get back to the car quick, so that probably helped.

Am loving this thread. A bunch of posters who think we should commit our future to the Kassam Stadium swapping notes on what a nightmare it is to get to and from games! It's a shit venue and there is no amount of lipstick that will make the pig seem better. If you want to work out why only diehard supporters go to watch us at home, when we have a huge away following and massive latent support for Wembley and Boro need look no further than the dump at Grenoble Road. The whole site should be social housing.

It's a sad situation indeed. So many great memories of The Manor that many of us can cherish, but The Kassam needs demolishing - we would have more volunteers for that than built The Manor. Need to start again and build a stadium for heart and sole of OUFC. I hate going to Grenoble Road and most of the friends and family I have taken their hardly ever return, so so sad. One day it will happen I guess.

Swansea at home when we won 2-1 I think it was, Villa in the Cup, the Swindon games, the rushden game, the Wycombe game that got us out of league 2, various other games where we have won in the last minute or games under the lights. I also do enjoy going to a Home game, having a few beers at the rugby club before a match. Admittedly I only make a few games a season but it still feels like our home. It’s not perfect but not was the manor. I also remember many dull games within atmosphere there.

www.oufc.co.uk/news/2017/november/car-park-update/Looks like more stewards will be brought to bear this weekend, although isn't this what they said would happen last time but didn't? Don't recall any previous comment regarding accidents requiring hospital treatment, but if so then you can see why they would be enforcing things

I hope the club also enforce people walking on paths only rather ambling across clearly marked roads when there are cars around because its quicker.

How is the new parking arrangements going for supporters?

The steward at the gate wasn't there last night, nor was there a steward guiding people to spaces. People were parking in disabled spaces who weren't disabled (other than sheer laziness). I suppose a big Saturday game will be the one where it either works or not

We arrived around 6:30 & the carpark was just about full. No one on the gate, but there were stewards in the carpark stopping people parking on the end of rows and in the walkways.
Exit was really quick, though that may have had something to do with the exodus when the fourth went in......
