Lets hope this is followed up by Nelson, Rothwell, Hall and Ribeiro. Also Eastwood and Ledson's expire in 2019

Good for him- well deserved.
MAPP certainly spoke about rating him highly and under Pep he has played a lot of first team games.
For some of the younger players (Ledson, Rothwell, Nelson, Ruffels, Carroll) it must be pretty good at this level to have had MAPP and now Pep (regarded as excellent coaches) to oversee their development. OUFC have been playing football 'the right way' and having two quality coaches must help with their development.

If we go up this season I can't see why it wouldn't make sense for Nelson to continue his development in the Championship

If we go up this season I can't see why it wouldn't make sense for Nelson to continue his development in the Championship The odds must be against us going up although we have a chance (we are around 7/1 to 8/1 with the bookies). I reckon Nelson will be top Championship and could even make the Premiership if he keeps developing.

Who saw this coming 12 months ago? .......even less than that! Can we now see Josh as a sell-able asset?

I would say he's second most valuable after Nelson.

Let's not forget Fazackerley's input on the training ground either in the development of our starlets.

Ledson's worth serious money, we might get a small fee if we listed Josh, I really cannot believe this forum at times Rothwell would definitely command a fee too, oh and Hall, and as mentioned Eastwood, and probably Carroll too

Amazing what some fans fail to see in players. Not every player has to stand out for amazing cross field passing, Big tackles or long skilful dribbling.
I bet Ruffels is up at the top of the list of stats for ground covered, interceptions, tackles and pass completion every game. That is what adds £’s onto a transfer, especially if those stats are consistent.
Ruff’s goes unnoticed but when he was out of the team our form dropped. He is now back in and we are undefeated.

Josh has bided his time in the wings waiting for a more regular appearance in the 1st team squad and now he deserves to be there And I for one would be happy if he started. Giving a new deal for the lad is a reward for working hard. Well done Josh

I hope he has a long successful career with us, good professional who has improved year on year and just gone about his business. He's starting to get respected for the player he's become, he does his job every game with amazing consistency.

Calling him a squad or League 2 player at best. Or words to that effect anyway. He has been really good this season. Happy to see a new contract negotiated in a timely manner without the usual guff that goes on in football.
