Phil Trainer scored the winner for Corby Town the other day as they won 2-1. Corby are currently caretaker managed by Stevie Kinniburgh, who is in temporary charge for the second time despite being just 28.

Alex Fisher came on as sub near the end of Motherwells 2-0 semi final win over Rangers.
As an aside, if you thought our refs were bad look at the one in this game, abysmal.

COD gets his first goal for Bristol City tonight. Not too keen on his gif on twitter. They do some pretty decent ones when their players score but his is him just grabbing the badge. Odd.

Kenny has been outstanding already in the first 15 minutes of the Mersyside Derby. 3 or 4 excellent blocks and calmly played the ball out the box.
What a player he is.

Every time that blasted TUI advert comes on TV, I spend the rest of the day singing, ain't nobody, like Chey Dunkley. Am I the only afflicted with this hideous earworm?

Dean Whitehead came on as sub against Chelsea for Huddersfield last night! I had no idea he was there makes me a bit worried about Payne if they are having to call on Dean. Also really missing Chey should have tried a lot harder to keep him

Dean Whitehead came on as sub against Chelsea for Huddersfield last night! I had no idea he was there makes me a bit worried about Payne if they are having to call on Dean. Also really missing Chey should have tried a lot harder to keep him Their form of late (at home at least) has been good so hopefully they’re fine without one of their fringe players from last season. My biggest fear would be that they want to loan him out to a Championship club. Reasonably confident that we’ll keep him however and it has been suggested that we’ll get good warning (c.f. Baldock). Re: Chey, it’s impossible for any of us to say whether the club should have tried harder. He rejected a deal and unless someone leaks the info, it’s impossible to know what was offered and whether it was reasonable in context. I certainly wouldn’t expect us to be able to compete with Wigan on salaries. You could argue that we could have got a contract under his nose earlier, but again that’s purely guesswork on our behalf.
