Ok I will start this one.
According to the Gills fans on their forums they are expecting a tough game and a big defeat. I will go for a 3 - 0 win Obika will be on the score sheet and then it will be down to who ever starts.COYY

Play at the intensity we did against MK dons in the first 15 minutes and towards the end for a longer period of the match tomorrow, even if it was only half an hour, then i think we would blow them out the water. I don't know why but i feel a result similar to the one that we had against Bury at Grenoble Road last season. Gills will be hungry and i actually expect them to be on top in the first 20 or so minutes as we don't start matches to good at home. I assume they'll try the smash and grab if they go ahead and will go every man back behind the ball if they take the lead just to try and grab points away from home. Don't expect them to be able to match us for 90 if i'm honest, that's why i'm going to say 4-1 to us. Obika brace Nelson Payne One last prediction- RED CARD Gills, we got quite a few players sent off last season and we haven't got one off yet (i think), feel tomorrow will be the day we play against 10

This is an excellent time to play against the girlie Gills. They are disorganised, goal-shy and cannot defend. So, my crystal ball has come up with....Oxford United 1 (Vagino Van Kettle) Gillingham 2 Att: 8599 and 898 Gillian fannies. Sorry about my prediction, but every time we play these bar stewards, we seem to eff it up at our ground. But its not the game itself that tickles my fancy (my wife does that......) The other goings-on have got my attention. One of the TV screens in the boxes will explode. The scoreboard will only show the scores in Chinese. The directors' box will be taken over by squatters. One of the squatters will let go of his dog and it will run onto the pitch. The referee will give stupid decisions all through the game and will be replaced by a trainee lines-person. Before the game, Eastwood will come out doing Clint Eastwood impressions, Nelson will do Admiral Nelson impressions and Mousinho will try to convince everyone that he is, in fact, Jose Mourinho's son and its just a typo in his name. Ribeiro will slip over and rupture his coccyx and fracture his clavicle, but make a miraculous recovery and be back in three years time. Kassam will announce that he's bringing WASPS to our ground. Not the rugby team, but the flying bastards will a nasty surprise in their arses. He really is a nasty man, isn't he! That just about does it for me.

I had a dream that Robbie Hall will score a brace, can't remember what the score was mind, so I'll say 3-1, with Obika getting the other

2-1. Yellows to come from behind after a slow start. Obika scoring first with Mowatt to come on and score a 35 yard screamer.

Pep goes with three at the back, namely Mousinho, Williamson and Nelson with Ribeiro and Ricardinho as the wingbacks.
The Gills cannot cope with our attacking play and we run out 5-0 winners (it could have been 10) a goal apiece for Payne, Obika, Gino, Mowatt and Hall.
An after match caller to RadOx declares Pep a genius.

At last! 1st game of the season for me, been a long time coming.
I'll go for 2-0 although a win, however it happens will do me fine.

Because with 90 years compound interest on your 20K, the generous Bazzer will be able to fund the wages of the returning hero Marvin Johnson for his final swansong, for a month on loan.

Time to start going through the gears now after a steady start. Hopefully we can perform well for the full 90 and be ruthless in taking our chances.
Will be interesting to see if Mousinho and Mowatt feature. Perhaps Nelson won't be risked or Williamson rested with Tuesday in mind?
