So how do they find out who u are? Say they get a photo of u from cctv, nothing to concern the police but the club feel they want to add u to their watch list. How do they find out who u are? Just by the seat u are sat in ?

Just by the seat u are sat in ? 2/. Is there an age limit of people they can put in the gallery. As I’m pretty sure u would be on dodgy ground taking photos of 13/14 year olds (or younger) without parents concent good Questions oufcyellows Firstly at a guess, an attempt to identify someone by the seat theyre sat in could bring into play the OUFC ticket sales database, details held(re who has purchased which tickets- via stand and seat numbers), are not currently being utilised by the club to promote all things OUFC. Perhaps Mr Mixter will be granted unlimited access to that information allowing him to put names to faces in the near future? Lets not forget that Ox Tales PRIVATE database HAS been announced via OUFC Official website! Pure speculation on my part, nonetheless not totally ungrounded as Mr Mixter is setting up his Ox Tales PRIVATE database using many OUFC facilities, access to the OUFC ticket sales database could be one of the facilities given by the OUFC admin to Mr Mixter for his PRIVATE Ox Tales database? Secondly, now THAT does throw a number of spanners in the works regarding the operational legality of Mr Mixter's Ox Tales database. Excellent point oufcyellows, I'd agree that photographing minors to store their images on a database could in general terms, indeed lead to the person behind the database, and their cohorts, to be very much skating on the proverbial thin ice!

Just can’t see how it works in the first question. Let’s say for example, I move along from my normal seat for a game as someone wants to sit nearer a mate. I then get a bit irate at a ref decision, and throw my arms about (not unknown) a near by steward sees this and mistakenly thinks I was throwing something. A call is made up to the control room and my photo is taken. How do they identify me ? Police don’t have anything on record, I’m not in my correct seat. So my photo stays on the wanted list, unknown to me to defend. What next? Photos in the paper? Wanted posters on the concourses? Removal if identified by the steward in the future? Seems very very flakey to me, and could include hundreds of fans who haven’t done anything wrong without their knowledge. Point 2. I would be seriously unhappy if as a parent I found this had been done to my children, when u can’t even film ur kids in nativity without permission from all parents. And even then can’t publish it on social media, so what would give mr mixter the right to hold photos of my kids on his laptop, and show them to others without my permission. (My kids ain’t quite old enough yet for it to be an issue) but still think it’s dodgy ground

"However, unless a supporter whose identification is known is the subject of a football banning order, a club ban or an ABC their data WILL NOT be held by Oxford United under this particular scheme."
That was my particular "gripe" resolved. As someone who is friends with what can be classified as "risk" supporters I didn`t wish to end up on such a list "by association". Credit where its due my questions were answered effectively and promptly and there was some acknowledgement that the implementation hadn`t been handled particularly well. In the same way Pubwatch schemes work if you don`t do anything wrong you`ve not got anything to worry about.

Which is Gallery is of unknown individuals who are of interest to the OUFC Safety Team due to their involvement in criminal or serious anti-social behaviour at designated football matches. That is very much down to the discretion of the safety team. What classes as anti social behaviour ? Swearing? Gesturing? Littering ? Without any convictions necessary

But if you’re potentially afraid you might be in cat 4 then just send your name and address and a passport photo with £10 to find out for sure.

If u had done something wrong u would be under one of the first 3? So what is category 4 really for? A holding area until u can be placed in one of the first 3? A group of fans they think might do something? How long can u remain in cat 4, if u haven’t done anything serious enough that it would have been dealt with under the 3 normal routes? How often should we all send in £10 just to check we haven’t been mistakenly added to it?

Without and convictions necessary ...could perhaps include there :- Smoking in the East stand Toilets? ..... listening to conversations in the North Stand Toilets? ..... NOT parking between the lines in the Car Parks? there'll be plenty of others too Idve thought, given Mr Mixter's perspectives and outlooks on many things

Even the 4th criteria looks pretty clear cut to me. Don`t act like a knob you won`t end up in it. My primary concern was with regards to the legality of the data capture/exchange to a seemingly unregistered third party and people ending up "on the list" by virtue of who you know. Now there is clarity as to why, how etc it operates and how we as fans can check how our information is used I`m fairly happy that it is an "upgrade" of the old mug-shots book.

Cat 4 is no different to having your photo in the old police spotter book. They don't know who you are but have been involved in anti social behaviour at football matches.
Not sure what the big issue is?
