No way should Lunny be sold for less than £2.5million! Wilder taking the p*ss again! John's advisers should tell him that he should only go to a top Championship team - IF he leaves at all!!

Doesn't appear to be anything official in there so sounds unlikely, even more so when it states that he is valued at 500k by OUFC, it will be far more than that.

I'd see Wilders scouting system hasn't changed. £500,000 pmsl

A good a player as Lundstram is at our level a bid in excess of 1 million would surely be successful.
Even if this report is inaccurate we must still be prepared for bids for our players before the start of season.
Much more likely to see an official bid for Johnson or Nelson in my view. Important that we have replacements lined up if necessary.

The Mirror are reporting it, wasn't it them who broke the Appleton to Leicester story?

No doubt they will leave it until just before or after the season starts which makes it far more difficult at the start of the season...

Pep has been told he doesn't have to sell, so the only way he's going is if he wants out and wants to be playing league 1 football in 18/19.

They won't be relegated under Wilder, he is a Pullis/Allardyce type at heart, I could see him forging a career in keeping championship clubs up once Sheffield United fans tire of him.

To replace him with a comparable player would probably cost in excess of 500K. i.e Ryan Leonard-Southend and Brad Potts-Blackpool spring to mind. Personally I would go for Jamie Allen at Rochdale. If we lose Johnson and Nelson, Marcus Maddison and Aaron Pierre should be considered as possible replacements.

He's worth more than 500k. A bid of 750k would likely be successful though.

Wilder's seasonal approach for an Oxford player, last season rumored to be Rob Hall this season John Lundstram. It's time for somebody to tell him to F**k off.
