Cheers Sarge. We have now changed the OxVox committee meeting to a three day conference in the Algarve to accommodate your questions, mate ;-) Is it an open meeting? I could do with some sun and Sarge may need someone to work the overhead projector with his questions on.

Do the club like Conor McAleny and do they think he has a nice face? Also, do they think football is great and do they like that too?
Oh, and I suppose it could be interesting to know why they think the pitch has cut up worse than usual this season, and whether going forward this presents any issues. But only if my other two very important questions can be answered first.

Oh, and I suppose it could be interesting to know why they think the pitch has cut up worse than usual this season, and whether going forward this presents any issues. But only if my other two very important questions can be answered first. Was just thinking about the pitch and having read this thought of a couple of ancillary questions. 1. Given that this pitch was announced as being the real thing and made to last, will the club have some recall on the supplier and, 2. Does this mean that Stadco are still not meeting their end of the deal with regards to upkeep of the pitch? (if that ever was the situation!) Plus, something I noticed at The Riverside, the roof over the stands had translucent parts built into it allowing plenty of sunlight (and heat) to reach the grass. Something missing from the south stand resulting in the poorest part of the pitch. Possibly something to note for future upgrades?

The translucent panels in the South Stand roof is something that we've already had discussions with the stadium architects about, and will be planned into the schedule of works.

Can you ask if the club have any plans to bring oufc in line with many other football clubs in reducing oap/senior citizen age to 60 yeara old...... jptwembley last season barnsley fans aged 60 were offered reduced ticket prices, yet oxford fans had to be 65 or over to have the same reduction offered on the price of a ticket. PS .... with Wembley 4 weeks away and concessions stated for boycott trophy tickets hugely discounted in comparison to full prices for 60 year olds (apparently), as Coventry City start their concessions at 60 years old yet Oxford united persist with concessions starting at 65 years old, will this be yet another Wembley visit where Oxford Utd supporters are treated differently?

Vests, which do you prefer, the string type or more the T-shirt variety? since your asking, my vest preference would be the type as favoured and worn by many at Wigan Casino allnighters circa 1973-74 .... if possible yellow vest with, of course, blue trim very much like the one (almost in the middle of the pic) in the iconic b/w image of the 'Casino dance floor from 1974 ' here'

Blimey, I remember going there years ago. Bunch of us took a coach up for the allnighter. Happy days. Thinking about it, I remember a chap called Sarge then. Shortened version of his surname. We even managed to get an alldayer going in Botley. Makes me feel very old!
