Just make sure it doesn't slap in anyone's face I think you two should get a room or, failing that, an audition for the end of the pier..........

Interesting re Stadium although the details are sketchy.
From what has been said, FK seems to be going along with it all (hopefully genuinely) and DE seems to also be very much in the loop and presumably going along with it.

I thought that was a really interesting OxVox update. Looks like there will be some real news re stadium price and next steps etc in April.

From tonight's fans forum it seems DE is very much out of the loop. DE clearly stated that he had not been involved and in fact was not aware of what was happening. What he did make clear was the fact the club was unsustainable without the stadium income. It was good to hear that he is prepared to invest in players during the January window if the case was made to him about the value to the club of the investment. His wish to meet with Oxvox and the City council along with fans in an open forum to discuss the way forward for the club in January would certainly give us all a better idea of what the future holds for OUFC? DE certainly seemed very upbeat about the future if the club and stadium were under one ownership.

So is the club via Oxvox going to become a community asset as well then, it seems there is only 1 runner in the ground ownership that FL will talk to, that being a community asset facilitated by Oxvox.

So: 'the most recent meetings with Firoz Kassam (FK), Oxford City Council, Darryl Eales and legal representatives who are preparing the ‘vehicle’ for the proposed acquisition.' I would say that until recently DE has been upfront apparently honest and there does not appear to have been any confusion with what has been going on (even the Checkatrade trophy, DE made clear his view which like it or not he is entitled to have) Now there seems to be a lot of contradictions. For those who listened this evening, does DE see the Community Asset ground as a good thing or not?

For those who listened this evening, does DE see the Community Asset ground as a good thing or not? Well I think he described it as fantastic Yeah he was still publicly supportive and thought it was a positive announcement earlier this year. He also felt that this was probably the last chance for a purchase to be viable or else we'll need to start considering Plan a, b, c, d, etc. Repeatedly said on this and other issues such as the training ground that he'd like representatives of the club, OxVox and county to take part in public can meetings in the new year so that long term, sustainable solutions can be discussed and considered.
