Cool
I've seen over the last few weeks on the busses they have adverts running for the shop on the screens at the front of the bus, including a map of where to find it, which I thought was a good idea

Not sure when it's opening but looks like it'll be soon: Brilliant to see and hopefully will be open soon. Think it will be selling tickets as well.

Not sure when it's opening but looks like it'll be soon: Nice. Imagine telling us all ten years ago we would have a set up like that in the middle of the city?

The club has tried for 30 years + for a city centre presence so hats off to everyone who has made this happen after all this time.

Looks very smart. Good job.
For anyone wondering the new shirts are branded 'Manor originals' and consist of 98% cotton and 2% elastane.

Just popped to have a look at it in my lunch break (the first picture I posted wasn't mine). It shares a door with the barber's and stock is going in now.

I'm assuming after the punters have had their short back and sides they will be asked "anything for the weekend Sir?" Customers replies " a match ticket for Saturday and a pack of 3 please"

Opens next Monday (24th) as I understand. The thanks should go to the owner of The Market Barber who offered the space to OUFC to do this. The council on the other hand have been utterly unhelpful, putting hurdles in place to stop this happening. However, both The owner of the Market Barker and the football club have stuck at the project and the result is as you see it! The shop opens at 10am tomorrow morning (Monday 24th July).... it's now up to us all to support this exciting new venture..... COYY!

Sounds like we need to buy the barber a drink!
I can just imagine the council working around the clock to try and find a reason to slap an injunction on the new club shop.

Happy to combine an Oxford game with a hair cut! Always happy to support any business that in turn supports OUFC.
For marketing purposes it would be great if the club could use this as an example of the benefits of partnering with OUFC. So lets do what we can, need a hair cut then go here!
PS. Any links to what they charge? As a ginger, am thinking of a complete shave😃

Rumours abound that the barbers leave things a little short up top and concerns about what is left back. Other than that, most people seem generally happy with end results.

Sounds like the barber has been supportive of OUFC so perhaps we should be supportive of him?

Sounds like the barber has been supportive of OUFC so perhaps we should be supportive of him? I stand to be corrected but I heard that The Market Barber is owned by another longstanding Covered Market trader
