Happy days !
What more can you want?
Their goalie was an idiot, he was obviously getting riled and had had an argument with ball-boy earlier, but throwing a punch was just uttlerly flipping stupid.
Got locked in Frankie and Bennies after. Anyone know what that was all about?

Very surprised to see from the replay that the foul was inside the box.

Think Oxford were too strong and too physical for Swindon from minute one. Lunny was back to his form of last season snapping into tackles. Maguire the best player on the pitch. Eastwood, when called upon, pulled off two superb saves. Raglan so solid at right side centre half.
Appy and the back room got it spot on and it was Swindon who lost their heads.
MacDonald went in so hard on Vigouroux that I winced. The 'keeper's reaction was wrong too. Those two red cards for Swindon have to be served in League One games and NOT the Checkatrade Cup game v Chelsea next midweek.
We will take loads to MK next week.

Pighill were dreadful, they offered very little. If we put our minds to it, it would have been 5.
Very very happy tonight. Six in a row? Brilliant!

Great team performance today we pressed them all over the park when they had the ball and we broke with pace. Chris Maguire was outstanding today but very good performances right through the team . On the pitch our team had lots more passion than they did and they were lucky to get away with 2.0. In the stands our support was fantastic well done everyone at Oxford united, team, management and fans !!!

Lunny catching form again is the real headline for me. Glad he's clicking again.

Anyone think Macca was lucky to get a yellow? I think he was. I was expecting a red for both him and their keeper.

Anyone think Macca was lucky to get a yellow? Yeah, he had the right to go for it but he went in way too hard and probably shouldn't have gone in at all. Yellow/red for me. Got lucky a few times today off that ref.

From the video I'd personally say that the foul was just outside the box but it's millimetres either way so hardly worth arguing about.
Also thought Macca was very fortunate to avoid a red - wasn't surprised the goalie went mad.
Really don't care now though - just very happy. Big thanks to the ultras for the brilliant flag idea too - more than happy to pay to support anything like this again. You guys are brilliant.

If the goaly had rolled around on the floor in agony the card would have been red.

There was enough of them to make some noise, but honestly never heard anything from them. I reckon they've given up, Comments on their match-day thread thetownend.com make me think they were resigned to defeat fromthe start. Maybe we need some new bitter rivals.

One day they'll see a Swindon goal at the Kassam. I make that five matches that they've failed to register at our ground.
Anyone got a link to the highlights that I can view from abroad? The Sky Sports link doesn't work in Canada.

Also credit the club for promoting amputee football at half time.
It's not something I have seen much of but it was very impressive.

We just had them under pressure all day and you could see they weren't happy not playing in their way. I don't think their subs worked particularly.
I thought Macca went in heavily with the keeper, but the Ref had let similar tackles go so presumably he was fine with that sort of contact. The keeper has himself to blame for his bookings and no one else.
Outside of their pathetic falling over, we looked like more street wise than they did. We had an extra gear where they didn't.
