Hey
I have spent the morning looking for posts about OUFC fans/players/management who have sadly left us.
Some of the threads were lost, never to be found. But they are all here now.

Maybe it would be an idea as a Club to make a point of remembering those supporters who have sadly died in the previous 12 months by having a tribute of some sort during a specific game my suggestion if this happened would be at the last home game of each calendar year.

Totally agree. Either last home game of the calendar year or last game of the season. At 2:50 they could put the names up one by one of the fans/ex players/staff etc who had sadly lost their lives over the previous 12 months. With an applause during it.

Can you imagine that these days? He's be arrested for "creating entertainment" which would be deemed a "breach of the peace" (the famous peace that pervades football grounds)

seem to be alive at the mo That's good to know. Is it true that when you die, they move your season ticket to the right side so that you can rest in peace and quiet?

Funny all these left siders starting of comments, never seemed to be able to get a song started poor stamina as well. Even super kev felt a bit sorry for you and decided to try and boost the numbers hat side of the fence

I heard he was told to go in the right side, but as he was running towards the stand make the basic error of using his right, not our right. And ended up in the quiet side

That's what you heard, that doesn't make it a fact, just a rumour that was whispered in the right side breaking the usual silence.

See Brendan by the shops in Summertown now and again always in a wheelchair think he lives Cutteslowe area I haven't read all the posts so I may be duplicating things but sadly Brendon died a few months ago. One of his old OUFC shirts now hangs upstairs. I knew Brendon for many years as he only lived 6-7 doors away. Always on about OUFC up to the very end. His sister gave the shirt to us by way of a memory of him. His mum died shortly before him and that affected him badly. The council then made him move to a ground floor flat further up Cutteslowe which he hated, he was only in there a couple of weeks and was found dead one morning.

I went to school with him so he would have been 53 or on the verge of turning 53 when he passed away.
