This is terribly sad news, feel pretty numb by this. Keith was a top bloke - travelled up to Mansfield with him in my car, and various other away matches.
He was Oxford through and through. 55, wow. I'm gutted, so so young.
He'll be watching the Yellows from up above.
RIP Keith.

Seen at games but unfortunately not someone I had ever really known. 55 is far too young and my thoughts are with his family and friends.

Was he not from London? Sad news I think he was if memory serves me correctly. I am sure he used to stand near me in the London Road end, left side. I reckon he was part of three of four London lads and was the quiet one! I am going back to the early 90's.

This really sad news does indeed put Saturday's pathetic performance into context.
I got to know Keith when I moved to London in the late 1990s, as like me he was usually on the coach going to home games and on the train to away matches and, as you do, you get talking. We then had a spell when we were travelling to games together (also with John) and a few others. I remember him driving us to a game at Lincoln (pre relegation), where we lost 1-0. It felt like a long journey up there, but it was even longer on the way home - but fortunately Keith knew of a good watering hole on the way back for us to drown our sorrows in.
After I left London I still met up with him at various away games, particularly in York, and although I'd not seen him for a couple of seasons at a game, we stayed in touch via text.
Keith was a great bloke and a good friend who helped me out one time when I had some problems, so I'll always have reason to be grateful to him. If anyone who posts on here knows of any funeral details, could you email me off board - leedsyellow@yahoo.com

I knew Keith and strangely enough talked to him after the D&R game, having not seen him for a long time. Stood near him on the left side of the London Road and even travelled to a few games with him in the 90s. A nice bloke and a big fan - terrible news.

Always sad when a devoted Yellows fan passes away, and especially sad at such a relatively young age my thoughts are with his family. We all have our own thoughts on an afterlife. In mine, Oxford are always top of the Premiership and Manchester United are always struggling in the Conference North. I do hope it's the same for Keith.

No wonder poor old Slappy gave Saturday's game a miss.
He must be terribly upset.
I hope they put a tribute to the fella in a future programme.

I only found out yesterday like everyone else, I decided to miss the game for footballing reasons. As ESB says, have a look on Keith's facebook page for lots of photos and tributes.

First got to know Keith from the early 80's. For me Keith epitomised what being an OUFC football fan was all about. Keith was always there at away games. We drowned our sorrows many a time but at least he witnessed the great times too. He would sing many a chant on his own if need be to get behind the lads. It won't be the same without him.
