And we're ball number 31.
Who do fancy? Do you fancy a cup run at all, would it be better for us not to have that distraction?

Witham Town, Greenwich Borough, Canvey Island or someone similar away would be good.

Definitely want a Cup run - good for morale for the players, good for morale for the fans.
Usually I always say that I want to be drawn away from home to whoever is the lowest ranked side within an hour or two's train ride of London.
This year, I'm not going to be able to make the game that weekend. So I want to be drawn at home to whoever is the lowest ranked side full-stop, and then away from home to whoever is the lowest ranked side within an hour or two's train ride of London in the Second Round.
Something like:
Round 1 - Norton United FC (H) Round 2 - Burgess Hill Town (A) Round 3 - Swindown Town (H) Round 4 - Arsenal (A)
Bonzer.

There are at least a couple of teams with obvious connections to us.
Eastleigh - obviously - with Beano, Yemi and Midson.
Havant and Waterlooville - Alfie's goal at Anfield.

For selfish reasons, somewhere in the north away, and from below the conference. Winner of Warrington v North Ferriby perhaps. Warrington are nicknamed "The Yellows" so at least we could entertain ourselves by chanting yellows at each other for 90 minutes
Worst draw going would be anyone from L1/L2 away that is miles away from Oxford - Carlisle,Plymouth etc.
League One and Two clubs are numbered alphabetically from no 1 (Accrington) to no 48 (York City). Then these are the non-league teams going into this weeks final qualifying round
49 Spennymoor Town Or AFC Telford United 50 King’s Lynn Town Or AFC Fylde 51 Grimsby Town Or Guiseley 52 Norton United Or Shildon 53 Warrington Town Or North Ferriby United 54 Alfreton Town Or Lincoln City 55 Macclesfield Town Or Wrexham 56 Chorley Or FC Halifax Town 57 Barwell Or Altrincham 58 Leek Town Or Blyth Spartans 59 Stockport County Or Chester 60 Gateshead Or Gainsborough Trinity 61 Tamworth Or Southport 62 Dorchester Town Or Bristol Rovers 63 East Thurrock United Or Bath City 64 Gloucester City Or Forest Green Rovers 65 Dartford Or Burgess Hill Town 66 Maidstone United Or Welling United 67 Willand Rovers Or Gosport Borough 68 Witham Town Or Weston Super Mare 69 Eastbourne Borough Or Dover Athletic 70 Weymouth Or Braintree Town 71 Worcester City Or Greenwich Borough 72 Canvey Island Or Havant & Waterlooville 73 St Albans City Or Concord Rangers 74 Basingstoke Town Or Harrow Borough 75 Aldershot Town Or Torquay United 76 Kidderminster Harriers Or Eastleigh 77 Evesham United Or Bromley 78 Chelmsford City Or Barnet 79 Nuneaton Town Or Hemel Hempstead Town 80 Woking Or Boreham Wood

Bet we’ll get blooming Sheffield United again!
As always, anything winnable is good for me. Considering this season is one of transition, I think a bit of a cup run could do us some good with a few extra games for James Roberts and COD to keep establishing themselves as valuable squad players first team performers.
Purely from a selfish level, any non-league side inside the M25 away from home would be ideal. Welling, Harrow Borough or Bromley would be fine with me.

Tempted to say Welling away - but I want to save that for the 2nd round.
So I'll opt for Dartford away for the 1st round.
