For the best. Wish him well for the rest of his career but not what we need right now.
Means we can bring Jakubiak back in, who is the better player at the moment.

Barnett came in and took Morris' place as the 'big bloke' up front. With Hoskins on the way back and Roberts emerging, makes sense. No point him sitting on the bench and not playing. Doesn't help the player, us or Norwich.
Would allow Jakubiak to come back in to the squad as the 5th loanee.

All the best to him, but seems like a good thing for everyone.

He didn't really make his mark with us, and especially since he isn't playing, so this looks like a sensible decision.
I wonder if Long is likely to go back as well, with Clarkey firmly back in goal.

Agree with what's been said. I wasn't overly impressed to be honest. No obvious level of skill, poor control, questionable work rate, very few attempts on goal and always seemed out of position.
Get rid. Good luck to him though.

Quite pleased with that. His performance and work-rate at home to Newport was quite poor and the best thing he could have done was to knuckle down, work hard and fight to get back into the picture. However in my view, he gave up as has been demonstrated by going back to Norwich citing lack of first team opportunities.

It seems that Roberts has overtaken him as he seems to be coming off the bench instead of Morris.
I agree with the other posters. He has done nowhere near what I expected of him.
Long should go back to Sheffield now as Max should be backing up Clarke.

Aside from his lack of effort v Newport I thought he was decent early season and the one thing he was particularly good at was his control IMO, he very rarely lost the ball. Think he will go on to be a decent player.

The obvious choice with the need to reduce the loanees by one.

Will the 12th man fund get a refund?

Hopefully that will mean more games for Roberts and Hoskins won't be far off either. I think it would be wise to look for a back up for Barnett in jan another big player that can do his role. Hoskins and Roberts r more finishers and we do see to cause teams more trouble as well as be better at defending corners with Barnett in the side

I don't think it can be extended either.

So he would only miss 3 games before we could sign him. Depending how much they would want for him

Will the 12th man fund get a refund? There is no 12th man. No but the remaining 50k was used as the fee for a 6month loan

Thanks must go to Norwich for lending him in the first place and agreeing to his return. Good luck to the lad and his reason for returning is a fair one in my opinion.

No but the remaining 50k was used as the fee for a 6month loan £50k more like £15k. If what some have told us on this forum, that ran out a few weeks ago if you believe what they say about how much we were paying for him.

Good riddance
Decent touch but his attitude was anything but
Clearly he's thrown his toys out of his pram.
No doubt he thinks he is something special or too good to be sitting on the bench. Well, news flash you need to put in the graft before acting like a big show
Unless he sorts it, he'll disappear without trace

If we're covering his weekly wage then ok if we paid a loan fee then surely we will get some back. As he's been recalled not sent back. Although on fm u can't recall a fee paying loan only the loan club can decide to terminate it. End of the day it probably don't really matter. I actually think he would do better playing as we have in the last few weeks rather than as the sole isolated striker we were using him as. This may have been on his mind for a while after he hardly moved when coming on as sub in that home game only to run his arse of for ncfc under 21s a few days later getting great reviews

Good to see the club starting to manage the very large squad numbers. It at least reduces one overhead

Will the 12th man fund get a refund? There is no 12th man. It's good to see some of the 12th Man fundraisers like Sue, and Michael North continue to support the new fund raising activities. No toys out of prams there.

To be fair with Potter now back in the side, Hoskins only a few weeks away from being able to feature, O'Dowda now emerging as a first team player and Roberts now getting some game time, Morris wasn't really needed. One of Jakubiak, Brown or Howard will come in to fill his spot on the bench.
He looked like a decent player in his first few games but up front on his own possibly isn't how he plays. Good luck to him and he hopefully has a future in the game at a decent level.

To be honest, I would guess it's more a case of Norwich recalling him than Morris wanting/asking to go back. Being involved around our matchday squad is more than he will get at Norwich any time soon. Norwich will want him to have got game time and I'd imagine will loan him elsewhere in the near future.

So why hasn't long been sent back or recalled?
We don't need him now Clarke is fit, as it's very arguable that crocombe would do a job if called upon, after the west brom performance.

Possibly that we're paying a large amount of his wages and Sheffield don't want to recall him. Or we're trying to find a club for Max to go out on loan for a couple of months.

Personally I think this is a shame, thought he had a lot to offer and disappointed that Appleton didn't give him more game time. Simon, think you need to understand man-management a bit more, may be the Wilder years rubbed off on you a bit more!
