Sorry i had missed this. It was a conversation i had with Mark Ashton. I was simply pointing out that Supporters' Trusts aren't here to simply endorse everything the club does. We will of course go on record and back initiatives that are positive but we are here to supply them with our members' feedback and ask questions on their behalf. Nothing a supporters' trust says is ever meant to be negative as we all want the same thing a successful OUFC. For any criticism the Lenegans got they knew if we didn't agree with something (like ticket price rises for example) we would say so publicly and they never had a problem with that. So I was simply talking to Mark about why we get so many questions on how the club is run, finances, aims etc and about the bad history of mismanagement the club has has from many previous owners.

Thank you Mark. I hope and assume that MA 'got it' As you rightly suggest, the vast majority of supporters want the same thing- success for OUFC and we will be here in years to com e ....

Although I am a member of Oxvox, I am fully aware that the membership level is far lower than the total support that the club enjoys. I am pleased that the trust put forward the concerns that members had regarding the ticket price rise and in this instance, would no doubt meet with the approval of the non membership who would also have had similar concerns. One area that was of concern to many of us is when Mark Sennett went on live radio to show support to Ian Lenagan when the vast majority of members and the wider fan base were seriously concerned about the time taken to replace Wilder and the resulting damage this did to our promotion chances. The trust does have an important role to play, however they must understand that under ENSCO the whole of the fan base has the opportunity to voice their concerns and praises to Mark Ashton directly. The fans forum had an audience of over 200 both asking questions and being given answers. In addition to this we have seen the owners mix with the fans both home and away, the CEO live on radio taking questions put by fans after games every Monday morning. The open door policy that Kelvin started, resurrected by Mark Ashton. All in all under ENSCO the supporters as a whole have never had so many opportunities to speak directly to the decision makers, somthing that was sorely lacking under the chairmanship of Ian Lenagan.
Yes the trust has a role, but we must all applaud the vast improvement that MA &DE has made for two way conversation, to all, not just the selected few. Long may it last.

Fans forum = 200. Oxvox membership is what, 500 odd? Not sure what your point is, well apart from having a dig at Mr. Sennett.

Yes! I also have had enough of Sennett sitting on a chair like Christine Keeler so the ordinary fans can't see his tail (only the other way round) and being stroked by Eric Pollard's twin like a white cat on his lap.
Yes! Let's all applaud the vast improvement that MA & DE has made for two way conversation, to all, not just the selected few , and do away with the anachronism that is OxVox.
Yes! Verily njones is the prophet who will lead us (under an assumed name) from the wilderness of league 2 into the land of milk and honey.
Yes! Let's build a stoning pit for dissenters in the Fence End for half-time entertainment and do away with the OxVoxian horror of the crossbar challenge so njones can (anonymously) throw stones at people he doesn't like.
Yes! I'm just so relieved that at last the power of OxVox has at last been broken. I believe in DE & MA, in the power of unexplained investment for an unspecified period.
Who needs OxVox with their namby-pamby elections, I want to be njones' number 2 Brownnoseshirt!

Sennett is evil. I met him for the first time at Northampton. He stole my wallet.

Sennett is evil. I met him for the first time at Northampton. He stole my wallet. That's nothing. He took mine, and replaced the photo of my wife and kids with one of himself, before giving it back to me. Ego-maniac.

Nah, he's a misguided man (with tail issues) who doesn't yet realise how brilliant our management are.
He also fails to honour njones properly so I'll be happy to cast the first stone at the bastard at half-time vs Wycombe, assuming Yellow Army get their arses in gear and build the pit in time; which they would do easily if only njones was in charge of the Yellow Army.

I feel we are about to go into the "Oxvox is bad, Sennett is evil" phase, which will descend into ever more bizarre and extreme personal insults and accusations, followed by anybody who dares to disagree with njones being told they are stupid and/or unworthy.
Will other YellowVoice refugees put in an appearance too? Those of you who did not have a look at YellowVoice, before it's bizarre closure, are in for a real treat!!!

And there's my point articulately put by the obvious.
As for 500 membership? What's that got to do with it. How many "members" attended the recent members meeting at the Kassam 20? Prior to a home game.
200 supporters took time to travel to a fans forum held during the weeks to listen and ask questions of the new owners. Now that's what you would call a proper turn out.

I see n"rhino skin"jones still isn't getting the message. No-one on here is interested in your anti-XXXX diatribes. Why not stick to your secret forum, where I believe 35 or so like-minded bitterati regularly swap stories of hatred and betrayal in a safe environment?
If I could be bothered looking up the strict definition of "pathetic", I'm guessing it would seem familiar to anyone who's read your ramblings.

As for the point - I think you touched a nerve with the kitten tragedy; my surmise is that it's death thwarted njones' ambition to curl up in Mark Ashton's lap somehow. Another black mark for Sennett, I'm sorry to say.

I'm not quite clear on NJones objective.
However the result is pretty obvious. He appears to be garnering more support for Charlie Methven and making people more questioning of Ensco

He's trying to divide and drive a wedge between many fans and Ennsco. I'm refusing to allow it... I like and respect Darryl Eales, Mark Ashton and Appleton. Endof.

He just seems to be an unnecessarily antagonistic troll to me. If his intention was to actually change anyone's opinion he'd learn some social skills.

There's that word again "troll" why is it that anyone who dare question the Brady bunch is no more than a troll? The fact that the vile abuse has been thrown at me by members of this "gang" seems to have gone unnoticed. heaven forbid that Milliband ever took power, the club would soon fail if any of you were parachuted onto the board under their proposals.

You don't seem to understand that "we" are not a gang, but a random bunch of posters. You just stick out like a dog's balls for your vituperative attacks on CM. I don't have any reason to be "pro-Methven" and remember arguing with him frequently on TIU ( I think I was being pro-Talbot, lol). If you have received vile abuse from others, then maybe you are just reaping what you sow.

Vile abuse??? What vile abuse? Sounds like a huge over reaction to me, from someone who comes on here with a one item agenda, posts in a provocative style, and almost immediately gets very personal. The phrase "people in glass houses" springs to mind. Also, what's with the odd posting times? Are you based overseas, or are you nocturnal?

On a completely unrelated note, necrophilia is not just unsanitary, it's also illegal.

Well, there we have it. njones is so detached from reality, so wrapped up in his bitter little campaign against certain personalities, that paranoia has taken over. Understand this njones; if you ever say anything worthwhile or thoughtful people might actually agree with you. Currently, you are in a gang of one, ranting to suit your own, strange, agenda. You interpret this as evidence of bullying towards you, of everyone else ganging up on you. It's not, it just shows very clearly that you talk nonsense, and everyone else can see it.
