Highly unlikely.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rose, Potter and even Hunt/Raynes went out at some stage.
A shame about Rose. He is a decent player but I am not sure that the current system suits him particularly and MAPP seems to not rate him particularly highly. I wonder if Ashby is ready to act as back up?

Surely Rose will play if Collins can't go on Saturday?
Can't see him being let out in those circumstances.
Alfie is the one who's down the pecking order at the moment - after COD, Hylton, Brown and Jakubiak - and it would probably benefit everybody for him to find somewhere to get a regular game on loan.

Hunt, Potter, Roberts, Ashby and Long I would send out on loan.
Sending Rose out loan would not be wise IMO as he is excellent back up.

Just from a few of his comments I don't think the coaching staff see him as a centre half

Is Beavns loan a three way decision or can we recall because if Riley gets injured obvious choice would be Hunt.

No, I mean Rose won't be let out on loan, because Collins may not be able to play on Saturday (having limped off last weekend after half an hour with a calf injury)

Maybe Appleton thinks Ashby is ready? After all, he was singing his praises st the forum?

Rose is ahead of Meades in the pecking order. I'd be surprised if we sent him out on loan, and even more surprised if he goes to Farnborough! Meades doesn't seem to be close to the starting line up at all, although I really rate him. He hasn't played many games for past 15 months. So a loan could do him good. But then he's our back up LB too.

Maybe Appleton thinks Ashby is ready? After all, he was singing his praises st the forum? From what he said at the forum, i can't see him picking Ashby till next season. He praised him, as a player and as a person. Said he will be a very good player. But also said he's still a very young boy physically. He needs to get stronger and bulk up. Like O'dowda apparently did over his first year as a pro by putting on 7KG of muscle. I can see Ashby going out on loan during this season.

Ahh, a bobbyford thread. Always worth a check back through a posters past posts to check on their reliability. Our Bobby's track record is not so hot on that front. Still, with 1 post every 6 months they're easy to breeze over.

Thought Rose had a very decent match today breaking up play and always looking for a pass. I was surprised he was subbed.
Collins, Rose and Howard looks our best three in midfield at the moment.

He looked pretty knackered as he walked off to be fair He was on a yellow card too, and with us having to break up play a bit more in the last 15 + the ref being as card happy as he was it was probably the right decision. Thought he was excellent today though and gave us much more in the middle with Collins than Ruffles has of late.

It does seem the best three hope we can keep them all fit and working together, Can only become a solid force.

I'll think u will find I was sat right behind the bench, he was blowing, not surprisingly having not had much game time lately and covering a lot of ground. He also got pats on the back and hand shakes from all the coaching staff. He looked far from p*ssed of. So please don't tell me what I should be thinking

And I think you'll find most if not all players that come off after running around for 70mins would be blowing. Oh and I think you 'll find that the management team actually shake hands with the players when they come off, unlike the last non man management manager we had.

So ur saying with 15 mins to go we shouldn't take off a player who is very tired , on a yellow card in a game that they r being given out like flyers. And in a key position to protect our advantage ??

He was taken off because he had been booked. The way the ref was handling the game it wasn't worth the risk keeping him on.

Maybe he was p*ssed off with the referee's performance which subsequently forced MAPP's hand?

I don't believe he was more tired than other players on the pitch, and having been one of the better players on the pitch he was disappointed on coming off. But yes, I could see that because he was on a yellow card he might gave been taken off, but the same could have been said about Collins! What I'm saying is, his head was down because he was p*ssed off about coming off not because he was tired, especially when he had been one of our better players and he was possibly thinking what the f*cking hell do I have to do to play a full game. But anyway, it's gone now so let's move on.
