Beavon to Burton ! and Tubbs to Wimbledon !, on loans
What a strike force they could have been for OUFC.
Speculate to accumulate.

I actually agree that Beavons especially could have been a great signing. Had you taken him out of Burton's team and put him in ours in the first game I reckon that we would have won.
But to be fair these players went when IL was about to sell the club and so OUFC was paralysed with inactivity at the time. IL's timing in my view could not have been much worse for the team's performance this season.

Cureton is at Dagenham too, he can do a job in this league. So can Ellison at Morecambe. Oh and that Lowe at Bury is a decent striker.
Do you know what they all have in common? They dont play for us either.

Wasn't the word on here that we were after Beavon but Preston wanted a fee..Fortnight later he's out on loan to a rival..Funny how that happens to us!

All happened before the take over tho Sent from my SM-N9005 using proboards So at least Waddock was aware of what was needed so with the deal so close to conclusion could Lenagan have not sought their investment given the deal was nearly done and they had done business previously? It makes no sense that he (Lenagan) is reported to have said just 1 more player when he was so near to finalising a deal and why the rush to announce season ticket details when had the deal failed Charlie was still in the background and the Early Bird could have been extended anyway just as the new boys have done.

Sorry Steve but you are one of the "clique childish" who are not worth conversing with. So try not to appear on all my threads in the future as you will be wasting your time, although it does look as if you have plenty of spare time on your hands.

I will of course carry on posting on what ever threads i like to as this is a public forum. And as you ask, yes I do have plenty of time on my hands currently.

Have been asked to carry on and to ignore the "clique childish" Hello yellowwood. As a no doubt soon to become member of the 'clique childish' (sounds like a nightclub for toffs to me), would you please indicate whether the entity that asked you to courageously carry on was: - A forum member
- A moderator
- A voice in your head, of the sort that you just have to obey
- A supernatural entity, such as erm 'God'
- Other
Many thanks.

Serious question; how do I join this clique?
I'm particularly interested in the "clique childish" subset. Do I have to be proposed by an existing member, or is there a preferred set of behaviours I have to follow to get in?
EDIT Is Yellowwood on the selection committee, by the way?
