A fantastic draw for me. They are my second team and it brings back memories of our first fixture in the First Division. The game will be played the week after next. Second what? I spent three years at Birmingham University and decided that picking one of the local teams to support would be much more entertaining than watching games as a neutral. I picked West Brom because Ron Atkinson was the manager, they played the most attractive football and had the best atmosphere inside the ground. Do you have a problem with that? No doubt there is a sizable minority among our fanbase who grew up supporting other clubs but are lending their support to United because they now live locally.

Lets all get on this, we could take a massive following here. Absolute doddle to get too so lets see just how many we can take.

Looking forward to this one
This game comes at a good time if we can take a couple if thousand fans which I think we will.
Hopefully the knock on effect will be to show how big the potential is at our beloved OUFC

From a purely financial point of view, I reckon it would be better if we'd been drawn at home.
I still think we'd get a bigger attendance at home than we will get at the Hawthorns -- can't see more than 10,000 there

I do home they introduce a new category for this one ! £25 isn`t appealing & the prospect of ET wipes out any thoughts of a chuff chuff from here to there ! Maybe they will see sense and make it £10.............

Yes whilst it's a Prem ground and fairly local, it still won't attract many punters unless the price is right. £10-£15 with £5 kids would be about right IMO. Even then I can 'only' see us taking 1500 tops.

Great tie for us to be honest a team we've not played for a while and a few connections at our club.
Should be a good evening out.

I shall enjoy the West Brom game far more if we have the comfort of three or four League 2 points by then...sorry don't want to sound ungrateful but you know what were like...

Im going that's for certain, and I think £15 a ticket is dead cheap. I believe if West Bromwich Albion want to change the prices for tickets it must be agreed by both clubs in order to do so.
mind you id pay £30 to watch my Yellows there.

As i said on the other thread, we won't make much from this which is important
Whether many U's can make it or not does not really matter, the home fans won't bother sadly!

You'd be fine on the metro or train into Brum until about midnight in the week, it's getting somewhere from Birmingham at that time that's the problem...

Great draw! We can take 3,000 to this one. Bit of a dilemma for me though; West Brom, or try to get a ticket for Dons v Man U? (Only kidding).
