Club needs to peg these at £10 for the whole ground in my opinion. If we have normal league prices, we won't get a decent crowd. £10 tickets will encourage a lot more, myself included, to make the replay.

Not very tempting really. They ought to have matched the prices for the original tie.

Crazy really, this wont encourage many to come at all tbh. They should of kept them at the same price as the original tie just like zth stats. The idea is to get bums on seats, not to price people out! Also take into consideration our home form, and that alone is reason to keep people away. The best approach from the club would be to charge £10.

Would have been good if the club reduced the prices.
Probably because the club will get more revenue from 2000 fans at full price than 3,500 fans at half price. Don't think many more would have gone at a lower price that would have benefitted the club. Especially on a Tuesday night

Was thinking of travelling from Taunton for the reply, not now though, plus a few mates were going to come, I'll just work instead.

(which should we win would be off anyway) therefore will also be an evening game

And since there's no home game before Tuesday, you'll either have to go to the stadium specially to collect or pay a 'booking fee' to buy in advance (£1 online, 75p over the phone - per ticket), making it even less value for money.
For a tenner pay on the day, I might have been tempted to pop down (55 miles each way) on Tuesday. For the best part for £20, I'll save the money for a more appealing away match later in the season.

I won't be travelling from Banbury - 38 miles each way = £12.00, then having to pay full price for tickets. jerome can keep me updated.
It's Charlton for gods sake, not Man City or Chelsea !!

Don't think many more would have gone at a lower price that would have benefitted the club. Especially on a Tuesday night The extra revenue is going to be marginal as we only get 40% of the gate. So why not make it a tenner and try and foster a bit of goodwill? This is an absolutely crazy decision by the club. I would definitely have made the effort if it was a tenner. Not inclined to pay full price especially as I can't have "my" seat in the NS. An own goal Mr L!

This is very disappointing.
I understand there is sometimes a difficult balance to be struck between generating some decent revenue and attracting people to the game but this doesn't seem right at all. Particularly since Charlton have priced two of our games at £10. I appreciate the financial pressures upon Charlton might be quite different but there is a bargain to be struck with both sets of supporters at this time of year.
Home games are not particularly attractive propositions because of the quality of football. This is all unbudgeted income as i understand it, so there should have been scope to offer some sort of deal e.g. reduced ticket price, buy one get one reduced price, combined offer with a league game etc. Charlton fans will feel particularly stitched up.
I live and work in London and had been considering travelling back. I won't do that now and may instead do Wycombe.
Most people have to cut their cloth accordingly in the new year and i think this sends the wrong signal.

When will it finally sink in that people no longer just turn up regardless, You would assume that some thought went in to the fact there might just be a replay. By closing the North Stand they have clearly expected a lower crowd so why not reward those who travelled last night and the long suffering home support.
Do the players also not deserve as many cheering them on as possible especially with the extra revenue from making it to the next round.
Attract your customers.

Very short sighted and shows a lack of consideration to the majority of Supporters who see the performances we have at home.

A lot of charlton fans are saying they won't attend if it's normal prices, be sensible oufc ! There are also a lot of wannabe 92-club memnbers in Charlton who have never been to the Kassam. They will be coming. And as we need the money - let's screw the b**tards while we can. Well done OUFC

Count me out...... another monumental PR cock up by OUFC.
Take your heads out of your arses and do something for the fans.
The way they are going on of late my ST renewal is looking in doubt....and I haven`t been to a home game yet!

A crass and idiotic decision by the club. Oh, and added to that. I purchased my season ticket for the North stand, that's where I want to sit. If I can't go in there I feel the club are saying 'get stuffed', so, they can 'get stuffed' as well!!

We're not only screwing the (probably) few hundred Charlton fans who will attend, we're also screwing our own fans. None of them need to tick off the Kassam from the 92 list, so I'm guessing lots will not come at full price. I'm hoping someone in the OUFC Commercial Department has done a sensible financial analysis and honestly believes enough people will come, whatever the price. We'll see.

Thanks for the quick response.
Completely forgot, and each tv company can only have 1 game each per round.
