Great performance tonight from him and Wilder mentioned on radox that we're quite far down the road in extending his loan to the end of the season, would be as important signing as any if that happens in my opinion.

Where are the people who moaned about him earlier in the season if he overran the ball or had a bad touch? Class!

I thought Williams was a bit of a headless chicken at the start of the season.....I was wrong, the lad has moved on under the tutouriage [ terrible spelling]...of Wilder and his gang!!! Well done young man, shame you are crap at being interviewed but heh ho!!

Was really impressed with him defensively tonight. We know he is a serious threat going forward. But he is much, much improved going the other way also. Really good performance.

The boy is good...but not the finished article, fuckham ought to extend his loan period for at least 5 years, then he should be ready to f*ck the premiership!!

I first saw Williams when he came on as a sub against Wycombe when he was frankly embarrassing. Tonight he was man of the match for me - absolutely first class. He must have covered every inch of the pitch and was clearly the most skillful player out there. It would be a real coup if we could keep him for the whole season. I'm even wondering if Alfie would get his place back today if he was fit.

He didn't look too good to start with although at Fulham I thought he showed huge promise.
I was a little surprised by those who suggested that COD was a better bet, but Williams has definitely proved himself.
I wonder if the injury to Alfie helped us a little?
When Alfie, Rigg get fit we will have some difficult choices a last.

I was baffled by the stupid questions asked. He was picked out because he had a good match and scored the winner so why quiz him about the manager's contract situation?

thought he played very well and handled some of the less appropriate questions well too....bastard "journos" tried to trap him imo...they kept looking for the story they wanted to spin..it was obvious (again imo). Neither Ryan nor Beano (nor Wilder) gave them the opportunity to make more of the situation than there is ..despite their obvious desire to get something tasty out of the interviews.
& I'd play him in a starting eleven ahead of Alfie on his current form. Let's hope he keeps improving at the same rate..if he does he'll be priceless!
Against Wycombe I would agree he didn't really look anything like the player we have seen the last few weeks. He was brought on just after Rose's equaliser but 7 minutes later Wycombe went ahead again after that stupid pen was given away & we were right on the back foot again. I'm not saying we'd have seen a different Williams if we'd managed to stay level but it was a setback at a time he was clearly trying to find his feet (literally) and trying (maybe too hard) to impress on his first(?) League appearance? In any case we did end up getting an equaliser.

Great news if we can keep him for the season. It'd be interesting to see how he and Alfie would fit into a team if they were both fit and willing.

I guess that's based on his comments on BT Sport. Something along the lines of being "someway down the line in discussions with Fulham". Great news.

i think Fulham would be mad to not let us keep him. he's playing most weeks now, he already got so much better after just 6months and he's playing in a winning team. It would do his confidence the world of good going back in the summer after winning the league with us.
if they take him back, he'll either just be playing in the reserve league or go out on loan to a team thats not doing as well in there league and it will knock his confidence.
I hope your reading this Rene Meulensteen

Possibility??? If we were to win promotion, do you think there's any chance Fulham would loan him to us again? And would we want him in LG1? Thoughts...
