I trust him to know better than you when is the right time to bring in youth. Offering youth contracts is far more important than giving them game time in matches where they may not be ready. My worry is that if they are not ready to play in a meaningless end of season game then when will they be? Pretty concerning that 25% of next seasons squad are not ready to play now, presumably they will undergo some amazing transformation over the summer and be ready come August? Wilder has made his stance very clear; he does not see these games as meaningless and he wants to win. He will put out the team that he sees as the most likely to get 3 points. The fact that Marsh is young and came through the youth system wouldn't, and shouldn't, come into his thinking.

One to ponder. If Max Crocombe keeps another clean sheet today is there any reason to drop him. Should he start next season as No 1 and Clarkey on the bench?

Looks like we have the seen the last of Craddock, Parker and Worley. Good, the first of many to go this summer But Smalley has started! Surely, surely, surely anyone with any sense would be waving goodbye to that no hoper for next year. I pray that him starting today has nothing to do with CW wanting to keep him.

The fact that Marsh is young and came through the youth system wouldn't, and shouldn't, come into his thinking. Yes I can see that. The problem is that 25% of his squad will be made up of players like marsh next season, will he suddenly have more faith in them then? Going to be a bit short of players if he doesn't start trusting them isn't he? If what il and CW said is true then we need to develop these players for the future of the club, surely the best way to do that is to play them in games were there is little pressure? Certainly better than playing someone who is extremely unlikely to be playing for us next season.

One last chance to show any watching scouts that he can play well(i'll still be laughing at the end of the game saying that)
