Was late getting home tonight and was glad I wasn't in to listen to this--I remember us losing to Spurs at the Manor 4-0 Hrrumpf

People say why would Wilder resign but 'Resigned as OUFC manager' will look a lot better on his future CV than 'Sacked as OUFC manager'.

He won't be sacked though. He will leave by mutual consent at end of the season.

He's still here. We play the best football I've seen in ages on Saturday, and then we have tonight. Why did he change the team that finished on Saturday?

Shame not enough fans left at the end to make the booing loud enough.

I thought McCormick could have done better on at least 3 of the goals tonight. Clarkey he isn't.
Also, they (Rotherham) defended corners the proper way. They had players on both posts and protected their GK, we on the other hand, don't.

Well, who would've thought that was going to be the team that turned up after Port Vale and Gillingham. That makes York at home look like an amazing result. We just collapsed, like nearly every time this season, after conceding. I never want to see 3 at the back again! Especially at home. No pace on the right hand side with Raynes and Dubes whilst Batt was up the other end of the pitch clearly wasn't a good idea.
The Ad boards were put so close to the pitch which I assume was to stop their threat from throw-ins, which clearly was an injury waiting to happen.

The problem is when you sign and only concentrate on good boys who don't answer back you're lacking in the fight department when the chips are down.

When your major tactical innovation is moving the advertising hoardings, you know that the Manager is well up sh** creek searching for a paddle. Dreadful.

Shouted across to Ian Lenagan at end of game "he's got to go Ian", but he just shook he head in disbelief!! So I can't see him sacking Wilder.

Well I suggest Mr Lenagan takes a close look at Tuesdays attendance v Barnet because if Wilder stays much longer and into next season you can get used to 4000 home fans...

Thats ladies and gents is the reason why we wont go up, via the auto's or playoff's! I wish people here would be realistic. While this inept pleb is at the helm, we are going no where!

Looks like we'll have Wrexham and Newport coming up to join us next season... 2 things, only 1 team gets automatic promotion in the CON,so how are you sure that the other team will win the play offs? If Grimsby win there games in hand they go above Wrexham.

The Conference is even more open than League Two. Although any cause for optimism before last night has surely been extinguished finally this season. The hours are ticking for Wilder

Shocking performance from everyone involved (except the fans who apart from boos at half and full time were loud and supportive)
Hopefully it's a blip and we can get back on track, but why change a winning team and a winning formation.

A blip?! Back on track? What track!? A mid table inconsistent one? What track.... I'm talking about 3 wins in the last 4 games. I'm hoping we win the next game and the next and the next and the next. That kind of getting back on track. The track that sees Oxford United being successful.

The back three definitely did not work. Not sure duberry was fit, and the full backs seemed lost as to when to defend and when to attack. The defensive displays haven't been too bad the last few weeks, and I can't see why we would change it to 'outwit' Evans.
McCormick is being criticised, but IMO he wasn't at fault for any of the goals. Possibly the first, but the ball was weakly shut down and we were rightfully punished for it. Move on to Saturday.

While I agree Wilder will go, and rightly so, he is still the manager that got us back into the football league. Without him, we may still be there. Of course we all aren't happy with last night and the way the season has gone, and know things need to change. But calling Wilder an inept pleb is taking it to far.
